I will definitely book again. The manager, Adam, is awesome and is very kind and helpful. The cleaning staff are amazing and work very hard to keep the rooms and grounds very clean. DUTCH BROS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET RALIBERTO'S EXCELLENT MEXICAN FOOD 2-3 BLOCKS AWAY. LAUNDRY MAT RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET! SAFE PARKING VERY PRIVATE AND COMFORTABLE!! Easy highway, beach, NHRA RACETRACK, freeway access, large grocery store not far (Target, gas stations, CVS, and very short drive to Eureka dog park too!) There are renovations going on at the hotel, but no interruptions or loud noises late at night. I never ever heard any neighbors and never was told they heard my TV late ar night when I fell asleep! Super comfy beds and pillows I've stayed twice (1-2 weeks at a time) for work and always am very happy with the privacy to work and my dog is rarely alerted to anyone outside, there's very little foot traffic compared to other more expensive places in Eureka. I will definitely book here again. All front window staff and on-site managers are excellent! As a single female, I was very comfortable and very safe. Thank you, Adam and all staff. You made my stay very welcoming and very comfortable!! You all are awesome!!

Not much to dislike. There are more expensive places 2-3 BLOCKS away on 3rd Street, DO NOT STAY ON 3RD STREET IT IS THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT! No joke! I will book at Super 8 any day before I book closer to the marina and 3rd Street again. Super 8 will always be my go to for booking in Eureka!

Comfy beds and pillows Super nice and accommodating staff Excellent Manager (Adam) and front desk staff (can't remember his name but very kind) Easy parking Right next door to a security company that has cameras all over, so bot a lot of foot traffic and usually very quiet. Also as a solo female traveler whose stayed at other locations in Eureka, I felt very safe here and was not bothered at all. Dutch Bros Coffee and laundrymat right across the street Good location and easy access to highways and stores Easy walk (3 to 4 blocks) to the marina and bay

Rooms are VERY clean and tidy! Super comfy bed and excellent staff here. I found the location to be optimal for business, centrally located and easy access to lots of stores.And...Dutch Bros coffee right across the street and excellent Mexican food on other side across the street. I booked for several more days because this place is very clean, great helpful staff and a good value for my business travels.

The only thing is the number of homeless folks milling around nearby streets. I don't at all mind homeless people, and this is the new norm here in CA (living in OK for several years you don't see very many homeless because OK houses their most needy) so there is that factor to consider. But...here in CA it doesn't matter where you book, there will always be homeless because CA doesn't care about its citizens like other states do.

We had a great stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast could use a little work, there wasn't really anything l wanted besides coffee, and if they got some actual creamer it would be appreciated. The staff were super helpful with recommendations on local restaurants and attractions. I had to pay a pet fee which is understandable but l don't appreciate when it's charged per dog and not stated clearly in the fine print. Overall l would stay here again, especially if the doggos are left at home!

First off, the price, pet fee, and parking accommodations were the most important for us in choosing this place. Everything else felt like a plus. The evening and morning staff were very helpful and polite! I liked that a family was actually using the patio area for a gathering because it made the hotel feel warm and lively. The room we got was very clean and well maintained overall. I liked that we could see our cars from the window as we were traveling across state with many belongings. I would definitely stay here again.

The room had 3 beds, which accommodated my family perfectly, the shower was very nice , I love 💜 when there's light in the shower. Another wonderful thing was ample USB ports in the room to charge everyone's devices

The breakfast is basically non existent and us over earlier than I'd like for as little as it is, I couldn't even get a cup of coffee at 10:30 am,. The biggest complaint that I have is that they have closed down the pool, there used to be an indoor pool with a balcony and now the entrance to that area is taped off with a plastic garbage bag over the door. 😞

didnt have breakfast. I was within walking distance of work so that was good since gas is so high and I like to get a little cardio exercise. Was comfortable, had everything I needed. laundry facility across the street, and the dryer was free after washing clothes which was a bonus. The maid was nice and kind.

I was parked in the alley luckily near my room. Something kept setting off my car alarm. Maybe it was the garbage service truck. You get what you get when you are in a certain location so that is what it is. Someone did try and take a bag of things I was loading out to the car at my door between loads. Probably a homeless person or someone with mental health issues....and those things. but I worked at Whitebird, and I have seen this many places. Not everyone has a fortunate life and things usually get worse before they get better. Given that I think the rooms could have been a little bit cheaper based on that location. Cant blame the motel for social issues and injustices going on in the world today. Not everything is a rose colored glass world.

I wish I would have had time to try the breakfast. Unfortunately I had to leave earlier than it was available. The room location was great and I was able to park my car in what seemed like a safe location close to the office.

The bedding was stiff and not very comfortable and the air conditioner did not work in the room. It was too warm for my liking and too noisy to leave the window open all night while sleeping. I did not rest well at all and thought I would try soaking in the bath to relax. The bath water never got very warm and soon ran cold well before the tub was full. A tepid bath did not help relax me at all so I had to toss and turn until it was finally time to go to my meeting. Its the little things that make the difference!

In the past I have stayed in super 8's and I like them and feel comfortable.

The room temperature was cold, we tried turning the AC off didn't have any luck. What they called breakfast was a joke, not even a muffin. Only coffee and Costco to go bars, it's a snack not breakfast. What I paid for would have had better service at a merriot.

It was centrally located.

It is not their practice to clean the rooms on the daily or change out the towels. They tell you that when you check in. If you want them to come in and clean, you have to request it every day, but they don't let you know. I read it on the mirror the last day we were there.
