Red Lion Hotel Eureka

My room was very clean and very quiet, which was important to me. The staff was very friendly and professional. I saw a marquis sign that talked about a restaurant on premises but I saw no restaurant and there was nothing in the room stating what services the hotel offered.

My room had a beautiful view of Eureka bay and the Samoa Bridge. However, the window was so filthy dirty on the outside it took away from the view. Pillows on bed too thick. Need a variety of pillows.

The staff was very friendly and showed me where we could park our truck and trailer with my daughters car. He smiled and had a great attitude. After my family and I driving for 10 plus hours he was awesome to interact with! I would recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back.

The price was pretty hight 280.00. We checked in at 11 ish PM. Just to get some shut eye. I get it its the summer on a Saturday night but it was just so much, however compared to other hotels in the area it was cheaper than others. The price is not any reason to give this hotel a bad rating. It's the season and again weekend so I get it however lol it would have been nice to pay a little less for a single night.

I liked how close everything was to the attraction that my partner and I went to. The Denny’s is close by as well as the bay front restaurant. The Sequoia Park Zoo is near by too a fun spot to hang out.

The front desk and restaurant staff, housekeepers, and maintenance man were all personable and welcoming. We enjoyed our time in Eureka so much we extended our stay. Shout out to the breakfast staff. Breakfasts were amazing and consistently delicious.

We were a bit annoyed by parking lot noise. And trouble finding a parking spot while a truck with an empty utility trailer took up eight parking spots in the dead center of the lot

We were stuck and could not get home to Brookings, Or because of the landslide that closed hwy.101. The availability of motels were quickly reaching full capacity every where. Luckily we got a reservation at your establishment. Your evening staff member on 02/13, was very nice. His service was comforting and gave us a room to relax for the night before heading to Redding to jump on hwy 5 back to Brookings. His service helped relax and relieve the stress we were experiencing. We are blessed! The room was clean, nice and the bed was amazing. Once I layed down-out like a light. We did not get to stay for breakfast, because we needed to leave first thing to avoid snow storms in Mt. Shasta, but I would come back to your establishment anytime!

Someone hit our new 2021 RAV4 in your driveway overnight.

The grounds were very clean and the staff was nice enough.

The shower drain was clogged and had hairs in the tub when we first walked into the room. There was also a $40 dollar hold they added to my debt card that nobody explained to me where the extra charge came from. When I asked about it the manager at the front desk was a bit rude in explaining that it was on the paper I signed when checking in. I explained to him that the girl checking us in should have mentioned it, like she did the pets and smoking procedures.

The room was clean, did not smell like a pet room. They provide a fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee pot. The beds were comfortable. Inside of hotel is well kept. Great place to stay if you travel with pets.

My only complaint is that they only have one entrance into the hotel. The pet friendly rooms are on the completely opposite side of the building. We like to park close to our room for loading and unloading vehicle. Also, when you need to take your pet out to potty you have to walk all the back to the front entrance. Very inconvenient!

This hotel was great, nice big bed and great amenities. A shout out to Robert who was so helpful and friendly 😀

king bed was very comfortable

Website advertised restaurant on site, but it has been closed since covid- misleading. Heating unit very noisy - needs replacement. Had to shut it off to sleep.
