Check in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The pool and pool area are closed. Pool is empty but we didn’t need a pool. Just a room with a bed and shower. The property is super clean and monitored to feel safe.

No chairs outside to sit. Or any lounge area to sit outside in the shade. Rude guests next to us that yelled and slammed doors but that wasn’t the property’s fault. They only did it at night.

After reading the bad reviews I was a little worried however it was great at the Blue Seal. The Staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. I think the negative reviews come from those thinking they're checking into the Hilton for small penny.

The room was a bit dark and cold (but we arrived to bad weather). No extra blankets. No coffee in the room and no breakfast, but there is a 7-11 nearby. This makes it kind of expensive, but I guess this is what you get for that price in California. No staff available when we checked out, the cleaner told us to just leave the key card with him in the parking lot. For this price you would expect an open reception at 10 am.

I love the stay at this hotel. Walking distance to the beach and main attractions, staff was polite and friendly. Room was up dated and clean and bed was comfortable. Also Room had little microwave and fridge. Perfect little place to stay if you are budget smart travelers like me 🥰

The remote control for TV didn't not work. So two nights stay at hotel we couldn't watch TV. But actually good thing that enf up we enjoyed more of Pismo and relaxation of vacation.

Very clean, comfortable king bed with good pillows and cotton bedding. Great cross-ventilation using screened and shuttered front window and back window. Decent fridge/freezer and microwave. Plenty of storage space. Perfect location near everything -- a short walk from beach and by 2 small, well-maintained parks. Staff/owners were attentive and friendly even during busy holiday weekend. The room had been freshly cleaned and mopped on our arrival.

Pool and breakfast/coffee still not available (although not promised on booking.com). No hooks or towel rails in the bathroom.

Didn't kno how to turn on heater. N there's a $15.per night mandatory fee tht they don't tell u till u pay.

this place is AWESOME I WILL NOT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE the gentleman is always so good to us even if I forget my reservations he tells me no problem!!! clean they also put a few Ac/Fans in the wall very nice touch!!!!

Within walking distance of everything. Bed was AWESOME. Rooms have been refurbished. Staff was very friendly. The ac was ice cold which was great for summer.

Nothing. Everything was in working order and the location was great.
