I really loved staying there and made full use of the pool & laundromat. Everyone was very nice and I was impressed by the overall experience. It is in a very busy area, and very central. My family in Mission Viejo visited me there daily, I worked from the hotel room every day "digital nomad" style. Internet was great. I ate in the Mariposa room several mornings and was impressed by the continental breakfast. I had my nails done and shopped at the health food store in the adjacent mall. The ride to the airport home was totally stress free - only 15 minutes Thank you for your hospitality! P.S. I forgot that I left a key card under the mat! I ABSOLUTELY ADORED the beautiful gardens. Marvelous oasis in the city!

Nothing you can control. Sirens ... but it is next to a hospital, so it is understandable.

Probably the most comfortable bed I've slept on. The landscaping was beautiful.the shower was good and everything worked well and was ample. The staff was friendly and responsive other than my comment in the negative comments. Easy access to most southern California beaches and attractions by car and likely bus although I didn't look into it. the free trolley in Laguna is great!

When I added a couple days( weekdays) they told me they would take care of it in a seperate booking. I was not told I would be charged a higher rate than booking.com rates and was even though I spoke with the manager.the proximity to a fire station was a bit disruptive. The washing machine needed cleaning and there were several paint chips that needed paint as well as damage to furniture. But none would prevent me from returning.

So impressed. Upon arrival I was greeted by uniformed Staff. My transaction went smoothly. When we entered into the room I could tell care of cleanliness was used .I found no rips or tears in the linens and bedding. The refrigerator was cold, there is even a full size ironing board. AND a Safe!! Really a class act. The pool is heated and the jacuzzi works. Both available until 11pm. The grounds were beautiful and nothing looked as though in need of repair. My friend and I opted to stay another night and we're given the Booking.com rate. That's how comfortable the beds are. Granite counter tops in the bathing area separate space from the shower/tub and toilet. Plenty of towels and accoutrements. I simply cannot say how wonderful. A 5 star Hotel at 3 star price..

When I checked in Booking.com had already charged me for 1 night stay. The desk clerk told me that they had no record of my payment and I needed to charge my card. I went ahead and paid, again and will be following up with Booking.com for a refund.

Spacious room. TV with HDMI chord allowed connection to laptop. Close to pharmacies and convenience stores. Very quiet, could not hear other rooms or outside at all except the fire station. Helpful staff replaced malfunctioning AC unit. If your AC unit is noisy, ask for a replacement ASAP.

Front desk was not always available. Sulfuric smell coming from sink. Fire station is right next door which meant relatively frequent ambulance/firetruck sirens at any time of the day. The property did not respond to messages on Booking.

I loved everything about the hotel. The room, beds, bathroom, furnitures, all were absolutely clean and beautiful. Breakfasts are good enough for me as a person there to cook eggs for guests. Around the buildings and parking lots and the pool jacuzzi were so beautifully landscaped with all kinds of rose plants. Very welcoming feeling. Convenient location. Walking distance to gas station mini mart, shopping center etc.. top of all, front desk staffs are very friendly, quick response. What more can I ask? It was one of very few perfect experiences in my traveling experiences.

Absolutely nothing

First of all, I went to several hotels during my 14-day trip to the US, but this hotel was the friendliest. And the cost performance was good, and it was nice that it was close to Saddleback Church. All the staff, including the manager, treated me like family, welcomed me so much that I couldn't get this kind of treatment anywhere, and gave me the best service. There was also an issue where the hot water didn't come out for a while, but it was fixed perfectly the next day, paid back to some extent, and was full of apologetic feelings, so I knew the truth and felt grateful rather than complaining. I will go again the next time I go to the US and I recommend it to everyone around me. The staff are so friendly, that's it

Realizing that kindness can cover up any flaws

Great hotel, clean, conveniently located. I lived here for almost 2 weeks from the pros: +Large room(I had a refrigerator, microwave oven, air conditioning, hair dryer and safe in my room) +Good free WiFi +Comfortable soft beds +The possibility of receiving correspondence to the address of the hotel + Insects were absent + Decent laundry + There is a swimming pool (I did not use) But most importantly the hotel accepts cash for payment There is a security deposit 200$, you can also leave in cash, returned upon check out

I did not see any shortcomings

This was a cute hotel, nice location close to gas and food and close to the Five Point Amphitheater where we went for a show. Easy to find and get in and out. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. They offer continental breakfast with bagels, pastries, cereal, bananas, yogurt and juice/water.

A little outdated inside the rooms and not a lot of outlets. We returned late from the concert and had to park by a different hotel building since the spaces by ours were full.

A very clean, comfortable, spacious room at a very good price. Well located near the Freeway and Laguna Beach. Lots of lovely Christmas decorations up. The staff were friendly, the area seemed very safe, we will definitely stay here again.

We took one star off the otherwise excellent experience as the heater (which appeared brand new) had a standard on/off button like on computers etc, but to turn it on it needed to be double-clicked, not pressed - not very intuitive!! There were no instructions, so we had to go to the office to ask. The bed had only one thin blanket and as it was a cold night we had to ask for another. We could have cranked the heat, but it is healthier to sleep in a cool room. The morning we left, our room key stopped working before we had checked out (and well before checkout time), so another trip to the office! However, the staff was always friendly.

The location was close to our son and daughter in law whom we were visiting. Beds were comfortable, the property grounds were nice and there was a washer and dryer we were able to use.

The headboards and end table between them were dusty, perhaps that room wasn’t used in a while. The window didn’t seem to close all the way. Also it was odd that anyone from outside could enter the hallways, completely opened and unlocked doors! Not real safe.
