Best Western Plus Irvine Spectrum Hotel

The breakfast was actually really nice. They had chef/cook right there in front of you cooking. Location was definitely a great plus. It was extremely close to everything! Gas, restaurants, drive thrus, small businesses, general stores, shopping outlets. And the staff was actually very helpful and nice

I would suggest upgrading the sofa bed. It was honestly pretty old and you can feel every spring! Even my 6 year old was complaining. Sorry, but I think if that sofa beds were changed and updated this hotel would actually be a 8/10!

Very large room/suite. Mini fridge and coffee maker were nice to have. Area has a lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Breakfast was very good for this type of hotel. Good selection of hot food. Breakfast staff was incredibly friendly.

Bathroom sink is in the bedroom in front of the bed. A super odd location which was not super convenient when staying with friends who prefer to get ready in private.

The room was big, clean towels, and linen. Free access to Internet, guides where provided in the rooms to operate tv and restaurant ordering. There is a laundry facility on the second floor. Each floor had a vending machine and an ice machine. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was incredibly good. I will always choose this location when I am in town. Most important it’s pet friendly.

Because it is pet friendly, the only downfall is that the room had a very strong pet urine order. Probably should get rid of the carpet. Also could use an area on the premises to allow the dogs to use the restroom.

Nice clean place in a quiet business area of Irvine (actually Lake Forest). The rate is good for this hotel, and parking is free which is much better than a lot of the hotels in L.A. Breakfast is fresh but options are somewhat limited, although it is a typical American style breakfast. There are a number of shopping strips nearby so you can get anything you need from them, and they mostly include plenty of restaurants too.

We really appreciate the size of the room. Not being cramped into a single bedroom and having the separate living area is a huge plus for us.

The only issue we aren't crazy about is the firmness of the bed, the small pillows and the firmness of the couch and chair. After a long day, we want to be able to relax and the current furniture feels so stiff and rigid.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating! The room was much larger than expected and could easily fit a large family even though it was just two of us. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all of the ammendities!

The sofa bed was somewhat uncomfortable because you could feel the springs on the mattress. We asked for an extra blanket and folded it up and put it under one of the sheets for extra cushion and it made it much nicer!

The breakfast was great. lots a things to choose from. The staff was very friendly and would make your eggs to order anyway you wanted.

The bed mattress was rough on the back after the third day. Pull out couch mattress was nothing but springs- poor kids got stuck with that.

Thought breakfast was typical muffin grab n go with coffee. My son was asking Dad lets go check it out. Man what a great buffet and extras. Was impressed with variety of food items!!!! Thanks made stay more enjoyable

Card keys kept deactivated almost daily. Kept in wallet away from other devices still has issues for entry to room.

The staff here was great! I have never stayed at a hotel with staff so friendly and attentive. A little after we checked in and got to our room, we got a courtesy call from the front desk to see how the room was. Any other time we needed to ask for anything, they brought the items quickly.

That it was a suite and it had a couch and TV in both rooms my sister was able to lay on the bed and rest and I was able to watch TV in the other room and there were Restaurants close by and a Salvation Army we bought a desk and brought it home and that Boot Barn was right there I work there part time where I live so we where able to go shopping

Not so much that we didn't like maybe just that they check these out, elevator because there was a couple of times it wouldn't go up or come down and it kept opening the door to the same floor, the window in the bathroom getting stuck and I think it would have been a good idea that the window came down from the top because the other way some one in the parking lot could look up and see in 🤗
