Check in was easy and they had our room ready early for us which helped traveling with kids.

Making guests pay for wifi is this day makes no sense to me. Hotels in third world countries include wifi now.

It was nice that we had a direct shuttle to CityWalk and Universal that was really convenient. They offered us cleaning services as much as we needed which was really awesome. The staff is great, our stay was amazing! I especially liked that. They handed out water bottles to us that was just something that you don’t get everywhere and I really appreciated it. You don’t realize how thirsty you are getting until it’s too late usually. Every area that I went into was very clean and all of the staff were very friendly to us and always asked how our day was and said good morning it was so just cool.

I think the beds could use a makeover, they are really hard and the comforters just seem to come apart while I’m sleeping it’s just really inconvenient. My hips and my knees kept getting more and more sore as I slept on the bed.

Proximity to universal. The rooms and views were amazing. Pool was great. Shower was fantastic!

Parking charge was a lot - Starbucks only opened a little while - aircon was faulty and kept breaking in our room leaving it heating the room. When we arrived and was checking in there was a commotion going on in the door way of the shop 10yrds away) I am pretty sure it ended up in the man being tasered and then had his pants round his ankles, with threats and profanities/ threats to kill! This was not a great start to the holiday and felt very unsafe for my family and daughter to have witnessed such an incident

It was a really long stay that we booked here with the Hilton and it felt like a home from home. The receptionist that checked us in was super friendly and helped sort out my Hilton Honors account by linking the booking for me. The room was clean and super spacious. The bed was probably the most comfiest bed I've ever slept on. The safe was a decent size for our valuables. The cleaning staff respected the do not disturb sign. The receptionist happily got the faulty hairdryer replaced straight away as well. The staff at the little cafe were super friendly and sweet. As was the server at the pool bar. Loved how close to Universal/Universal City the hotel was. It's such a short walk; but there's also a free shuttle bus that goes between the City Walk and your hotel doorstep which we utilised on our last night. There's a small convenience store in the hotel as well for any bits and bobs. Hilton also had a free water fountain. I'd happily come back here if we plan a Universal/Hollywood visit again!

The air con and mini fridge can be a lil loud at times but nothing too bad to rate them down on.

Great location at walking distance from Universal Studios and with easy access either via metro or Uber to Hollywood, Downtown and other interesting areas. Nice safe location up on a hill. Really good breakfast and decent size rooms with good beds. Good inhouse restaurant and friendly and helpful staff. Nice secluded pool area.

Some bureaucratics like our son being charged as a kid in the room and thereby not being included in the breakfast offer, but in the breakfast restaurant he was considered an adult and paid full price. All in all I had the feeling that extra fees crept in here and there making the total stay much more expensive than I originally thought. This is good standard hotel but not a 5-star venue.

The check in was fast and simple staff was very nice and helpful. I’d like to thank the shuttle drivers. I am temporarily handicapped. They were Very patient and very kind always on time. I had my three granddaughters with me and they made us feel very comfortable. Thank you. Soooo Much!!

I know the property has limited space but it would be nice to have a pool just for the kids and a pool just for the adults. Some of the adults were wearing very risqué swimwear, and not appropriate for children to see.

We were given a room on the second floor, which you would think is 'up' but is in fact down as the reception area is on the third floor, so we didn't have much of a view but once our room door was closed we didn't hear anything from the corridors or other guests. Also, we may have sacrificed the extra space we had for a view and I'll take space any day! The room we has contained 2 queen size beds, with a desk area and also a fairly large bathroom, which had a bath/shower combo. Lots of storage space for clothes and had the obligatory air conditioning and coffee maker too. Location-wise it is a 5-6 minute walk to the entrance gates of Universal and City Walk, but there is a regular shuttle bus if you have walked your feet of exploring the theme park (although it does service the Sheraton hotel too, so it can be busy!)

Breakfast is expensive here (which we didn't use because of the cost) and when you have so many hotels offering a free continental breakfast it seems this major hotel brand is missing a customer service trick. I didn't see anything at the pool area that discussed the use or cost of the cabanas, and there didn't seem to be enough loungers. It could be that when we were there part of the pool area was being developed, so maybe there will be more space in the future.

The room was basic, but spacious. The common areas were beautifully decorated for xmas. The concierge and bell desk employees were helpful, pleasant and friendly.

The view was mediocre, however, I could've paid extra for a view, which I chose not to do. We were awoken to banging one morning, without any warning - this continued for about 20 minutes, which meant we woke up, got dressed and left the hotel to start out day. The power was cut one night, without warning. A day later we were informed it was a Fire Inspection/Drill. We eventually left a day early, as the unpredictability of the hotel was too much for us. The lighting in the room was very poor. No ceiling lights - everything looked gloomy. The bathroom was well lit.

Very clean, staff were very nice and attentive. The room has An amazing view. Perfect location if you plan on going to universal studios because it’s literally a 5 min walk and the shuttle runs often to drop you off right at the city walk.

I did have trouble with them charging my card for items that I never purchased which made me not want to stay there again. They also double charged my room deposit. The food was expensive and not much flavor but that’s to be expected with hotel food
