Great hotel with really nice friendly staff, great size room with huge bathroom. Location was chosen for Universal which was great - there location had lots of restaurants nearby and they also looked after our luggage for us when we had a late flight. Really liked this hotel and would definitely stay again.

I wish they would start up the bar and doing breakfast again - I think it stopped after covid (fair enough) but that would just be awesome - so not really a criticism, more a wish. The streets around the back of the hotel had a few homeless at night but we didn't feel unsafe and it was quick to get to the main streets, again not a criticism of the hotel but just informative for other travellers.

I had initially booked a two-beds room because I was travelling with my sister, who couldn't come with me at the end, so I had all this room for myself. I was going to a play at El Portal theatre, the hotel is at a walking distance from there. I even made a couple trips there to take photos. I loved the location and the attention from the staff; I arrived a couple hours earlier than expected and asked if I could check in earlier and they accepted. Looks like the staff also knows how to communicate in spanish so that's also a plus. The beds were very comfortable and warm, everything was clean. There's also the option to purchase drinks and snacks at the lobby. The morning I was checking out I left too late for breakfast so I wasn't able to try that. There's WiFi available but I remember I had to use my mobile data a couple times to have internet access, but overall it was good!

Nothing to do with the hotel, I went for a walk, trying to find a pharmacy, after I had checked in, and I had to request an Uber back to the hotel because I had been followed by other people in two occasions during that walk. I was later told that this area is dangerous (although not as much as Downtown LA), but definitely shouldn't be out later in the night. I became worried because the play was ending at around 10 PM. Luckily nothing happened.

Overall modern room. Great shower, large and comfortable bed. Everything was clean. Hotel is close to Universal Studios Hollywood by driving or metro. Helps that you can also buy tickets from the hotel. Good garage to park in for $10 per night just note that it is an open garage in front of the hotel.

Very expensive for a 'hotel' that is a bit like a motel due to the rooms being exposed to the outside (the middle bit where you can hang out). Also it being close to the road it means it is very noisy. The location is a bit sketchy as well.

The rooms were clean and modern. The bathroom was nice and large . Staff were friendly. Parking was convenient and felt secure. It was close to the freeway which was also convenient for exploring .

They had an eating area that was closed which we knew would be the case but it seemed unfortunate as it looked like a nice space. It would have been convenient to have breakfast at the hotel. We were told at check in that if we ordered food in from certain restaurants there would be no delivery fee as they have an arrangement with the hotel. So when we ordered pizza we were advised that there is no such arrangement.

The hotel is immaculate and the staff is great. the manager is wonderful and his staff reflects his friendliness and professionalism. We are going to stay here everytime we visit our kids in this area.

The only thing we missed was a microwave in the room but there was one downstairs in the kitchen where there is also a coffee machine. We are big coffee drinkers but we reheat a lot so we do prefer a room microwave but it’s worth giving up for everything else in this hotel.

I returned to this hotel a year and a half after the first time I stayed in here. It was as clean and comfortable as I remembered it. It has a lot of amenities close, such as El Portal theatre, the Horror Vibes Coffee shop, an arcade bar, other theaters within walking distance, and so much more! The staff at the desk was incredibly nice, and let us know that breakfast was unfortunately not available, but that we could use the cafeteria any time we wanted. They have what seemed to be juices and water, and we were able to try the coffee and chocolate as well.

The wifi signal is not as strong, but we were almost always out, so we didn't really use it as much. The downside is that we couldn't watch or download any movies when we got there at night, so we watched TV instead.

The location is very good and closer to Universal Studios. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is impeccably clean.

The parking is a problem. I had very late checkin as I was driving from far. By the time I reached, I was asked to park behind another car. The reception took my keys so that they can use it in case the car ahead of me need to come out. However at 2.30AM I got a call to move my car so that other car can come out! What ridiculousness is this!!! The night reception person doesn't know driving and I had to come down to move car.

Pretty cute, trendy hotel… Lots of space in the lobby for sitting, snacking, free, coffee in the morning via a machine although the machine is impressive, there is plenty of room and space for what perhaps used to be a breakfast service area… That would be delightful if they would reenact that… Either for pay or included in the room price…VERY VERY WALKABLE to NOHO COOL VIBE RESTAURANTS, bars and STORES

It appeared most people here were headed out to Universal Studios or some other tourist attraction nearby… I think some sort of breakfast service would be amazing even allowing some sort of breakfast cart in the lobby, and drinks served on the second floor Terrace area, which is pictured on their website were not available. There was no entertainment or food service whatsoever.

Location was ideal. Easy to get to everywhere we needed: the beaches, Beverly Hills, Universal Studios. Never had any issues with car parking.

If I’m really being picky: Could hear people walking on the floor above. Heavy stomping but didn’t cause any issues. Blinds didn’t black out in the morning but again no big deal. Beds mattress were too soft that my son kept rolling to my husband’s side but again we were only there for a few days so no biggie.

I travel a lot around the world. A small hotel with a homey atmosphere is worth any other luxury hotel. This hotel is clean, modern, quiet, and pleasant to stay. The staff is excellent. Anytime I wanted something, the service was at my disposal. The hotel is new, so there is no problem with heating or cooling. The decoration is fantastic (Hollywood 1950s), the location is excellent, and it is five minutes to everywhere; I highly recommend

I hope they will have breakfast
