I had initially booked a two-beds room because I was travelling with my sister, who couldn't come with me at the end, so I had all this room for myself. I was going to a play at El Portal theatre, the hotel is at a walking distance from there. I even made a couple trips there to take photos. I loved the location and the attention from the staff; I arrived a couple hours earlier than expected and asked if I could check in earlier and they accepted. Looks like the staff also knows how to communicate in spanish so that's also a plus. The beds were very comfortable and warm, everything was clean. There's also the option to purchase drinks and snacks at the lobby. The morning I was checking out I left too late for breakfast so I wasn't able to try that. There's WiFi available but I remember I had to use my mobile data a couple times to have internet access, but overall it was good!

Nothing to do with the hotel, I went for a walk, trying to find a pharmacy, after I had checked in, and I had to request an Uber back to the hotel because I had been followed by other people in two occasions during that walk. I was later told that this area is dangerous (although not as much as Downtown LA), but definitely shouldn't be out later in the night. I became worried because the play was ending at around 10 PM. Luckily nothing happened.

The hotel was well decorated and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The parking was limited but there is parking on the street as well. It was conveniently located.

Typically hotels leave shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms. This hotel only had shampoo. Since I forgot my own from home it was a nightmare when I washed my hair and realized the second bottle in the bathroom was not conditioner but just a second bottle of shampoo. The front desk confirmed they do not have conditioner in the rooms. I have long, thick hair so it took a very long time to comb it out. It was a mess. So glad I wasn't going to an important event. It might seem minor if that isn't necessary for you but it was a major disaster for me.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The employee checking me in was super friendly and made the process easy. I really liked the free coffee and beverages for the morning. Great options nearby for food and coffee in walking distance. Close enough to attractions like Universal that made my stay very worthwhile. I loved the rooms. The bed was comfortable & overall a great place to say! Loved the vibes

I knew that their wouldn't be breakfast, but it would have been nice! The pillows could have been more comfortable. The toilet ran longer than it should have in my room.

it was lovely, with a nice big room and great bed. it was also in walking distance to the Knitting Factory where we were going.

After returning from a month in Paris, I have to say I was extremely disappointed in no breakfast. Even small hotels in Paris have a small buffet. As this was a rather pricey hotel, I think there should have been something other than coffee. I actually walked to get our coffees at the E-train depot.

Location was great. North Hollywood. Many restaurants in the area. Arts district. Clean fresh smell in the lobby and room. Modern bathroom. Bathroom lighting very nice. Juice, hot chocolate and coffee machine available 24hrs. Microwave.

Housekeeping service..stayed 3 nights. Got serviced once. Had to ask for towels.wish the microwave was in the room. Right by the main road. Maybe that side of hotel needed the windows insulated a little to minimize the sounds. More outlets. Or better placement. Room lighting could be better.

This property is a beautifully decorated small boutique hotel. Super clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable beds! The staff is very friendly. The location is central to everything! Lack of on site parking is the only thing I can complain about but there is plenty of street parking. We will definitely be staying here again! Wonderful stay and experience!

The design and decor were very nice.

The room needed more light. The shower water pressure is too low. If you have long or thick hair, you are going to have difficulty washing your hair. Hot water max temp needs to be increased. It was cold out and the water was barely warm. It is a new hotel so these things are easily fixed. The bed was VERY comfortable. The only major issue was soundproofing. Unfortunately, our room was across from the elevator, and we were woken 4 times (1am thru 4am) by loud guests talking/shouting while exiting the elevator. We could even hear one guest burping loudly while waiting for the elevator. The bed was far from the door so the issue is poor sound proofing. This really needs to be addressed.

Room was spacious, bathroom was amazing, spacious and with bath & shower separate. Hotel and room with great decor, smells awesome and very clean. Location amazing very safe and quiet. There was always space in the parking lot.

Very Clean & Modern. Rooms had everything you would need. Close to Universal & plenty of bars & restaurants near by. Staff was nice & helpful. Booked two rooms and both were very comfortable & clean. Bathroom had great lighting to get ready & there was also a desk to sit & get ready by the windows. I’m not a picky person since I’m not the type to stay in a hotel all day my main concerns are always cleanliness & comfort and they for sure delivered. Worth the money

Good size room (n.321) modern, clean, nice design furniture, bathroom etc.: PERFECT. Sleep quality tops. Room cleaned daily. Friendly staff and nice garage at a reasonable price ($10x day).

Pity breakfast was not operative but found the classic NO HO Diner on Magnolia, just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Good food & service.
