My room was spacious and clean. Had a pretty rose theme. It was attached to a garden area by a sliding glass door. I smoke in the evenings but never indoors, so that was a perfect place for me to sit outdoors. Coffee and tea is available in the lobby 24 hrs. Hotel was close to lovely ocean views and is located in a tiny town which was great for walking around and having lunch. Friendly staff. The young lady that checked me in was really sweet and helpful. Might stay again.

getting in and out of the toilet/bathtub area was an uncomfortably tight fit

Fabulous location and fairly comfortable room. Beautiful flowers out front and a nice view from our room. Parking was very convenient as we could easily access the car when needed through the patio. Can easily walk to the shops and restaurants. Nice walk to the headlands state park as well. The drive to the Russian Gulch was about 8 minutes. It's close to almost everything. We were happy to find that it was only a 5-7 minute walk to a supermarket. The room was spacious and a comfortable mattress. There was a coffee maker in the room and there was also coffee available in the lobby. Definitely coming back.

I requested 1st floor , you sent me to 2nd floor. I requested grab bars in bathroom. No grab bars. I'm 90 years old. E gads! the two items I requested were ignored. I didn't complain due to the holiday and full house, However when I booked . I requested downstairs, grab bars. If you do not have them I suggest you supply all bathrooms with safety bars.

Clean and comfortable and a great location to the town.

When I booked online it allowed you to choose between 1 King and 2 queen beds. I called to ensure we’d have the 2 queen beds since we were traveling as two couples. They actually said it wasn’t guaranteed through the website, so I can only imagine showing up and not having enough beds for 4 adults. I’m glad I called because the awesome person at the front desk was able to hold the correct room for us.

The location was great with easy access to town, the music festival and other local places. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. It was nice to have an ice machine.

The blanket had holes in it as in cigarette burn holes. The curtains were torn. There were multiple ant and roach traps in the room, which made me uncomfortable. Some of the grounds are not kept up very well.

The facility is located within walking distance of the main street of Mendocino. Some rooms do have an "ocean" view in that you can see there is ocean, but it is by no means "seaside". It's an older facility with tons of charm. There is no elevator for second floor rooms, so if you can't navigate steps, it's best to ask for a first floor. The beds were awesome! I would definitely stay at this location on a return to Mendocino.

Nice location, attractive setting & gardens

Accessibility was a bit of a struggle. I asked for no stairs due to mobility limitations, & got a downstairs room, but closest available parking with accessible entry was a fair distance. Managing my luggage & my service dog was a challenge! Be sure to request an accessible unit - there’s only one - if you have trouble with stairs.

Nice clean place within walking distance of whatever you want/need

The facility was sold to a large compnay who will close and do a major renovation. Expect room costs to be in $400 a night range. Say goodbye to a nice inexpensive hotel.

They didn’t supply any type of breakfast and coffee was only available between two hours in the morning. They need a gardener but the room was cheery and very nice. The beds were comfy and towels adequate.

The sliding glass door lock didn’t work but there was a makeshift bolt at the floor level to loco the door. That is not satisfactory

Comfortable, little old-fashioned but cute interior. Room was pretty big, free coffee and tea in lobby 24h,perfectly located in walking distance to seashore and town. Microwave for use in lobby. Great value for money (was about half the price we spend on average on motels while traveling in the US).

No microwave in room (but can be used in lobby). Carpet a bit dated maybe. Heater was making funny noises and smoke/fire alarm was set off the day of our departure by heater misfunction (I suppose they fixed it by now maybe?) .
