Breakfasts were great with lots to choose from. We enjoyed both the hot and cold varieties of food. As for the location of the hotel, it was also fantastic and easy to locate. Hotel was within 5 minutes to the Skunk Train, Botanical Garden, gifts shops, restaurants and beaches and hiking trails. Driving to Mendocino was also within 10-15 minutes. Another plus is the view from our room. We had a big view of the redwood trees and the forest. We also love this hotel because it is pet friendly. My fur baby slept through the night and didn’t hear any noise from other neighbors. We love everything about this hotel and would definitely be back.

I wish breakfast would extend its hours to 10:00am and not ending at 9:30am. Also, it would be nice if the Wi-Fi was secured at the hotel.

We really appreciated the extra amenties in our room. (Dove hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, small packets with q-tips, cotton balls and nail file was nice touch to consider for us guests. Having coffee/tea available in the lobby was great as well. We enjoyed the indoor pool/hot tub the most. Especially since it was chilly outside. The breakfast was great also. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back the next time we visit Fort Bragg.

The bagels at breakfast

Outstanding breakfast, nice variety, hot and tasty. Only negative, the toaster was out of order! Would have been nice to have some toast or a toasted bagel. Location was convenient to both Ft. Bragg and Mendocino.

Noise level after 10 pm - not the hotel's fault, but patrons need to remember that hallways are off bedrooms and should be quiet after 10 pm.

I appreciated the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the property, the location, the pool, hot tub, the refrigerator and microwave in rooms, fitness room, and breakfast. My husband appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea.

I would have liked full size towels or at least more clean towels stocked in the pool area and in the rooms. We had 3 bath towels in our room but 4 guests. The pool area ran out of towels, and a staff member brought in more when we asked.

The hotel was perfect, when we arrived our room had still wet carpet and a bad smell (because of carpet being wet and not dried in a cold weather), but Thomas went overboard to help us and find another room which was hard during long weekend. The hotel itself seems really new and nice.

I missed some waffles at the breakfast, they do have a machine to make fresh pancakes tho

- convenient location. there's grocery store, vinny's pizza, dollar tree within 5 min walking distance - clean rooms. even though my room doesn't have a 'view', it is still facing some greenery out of the window, which was nice. - decent sized rooms for family of 4 and a small dog - temperature is easily adjustable - fridge and microwave were useful - staffs were friendly and helpful

- fridge ice box didn't really work. i bought some ice cream bars and they were all melted - no fan and no window in the bathroom (or maybe fan doesn't work. there's no separate switch) - breakfast was pretty minimal. food supplies seem to be running low (i.e. there was yogurt the first day, none the second day etc)

Breakfast was good but not exceptional. The beds were very comfortable and I loved all the pillows! Coffee was available in the lobby all the time along with hot water for tea. I really liked that they used shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in sustainable containers rather than all the small plastic bottles that hotels usually give out. We were able to walk from the hotel to the Salmon BBQ at the Noyo Harbor and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

More variety at breakfast. The pancakes were okay, but I would have liked some scrambled eggs instead. Also they should have had some herbal teas as well as the caffeinated ones. More choices for yogurt as well.

We were very impressed with how clean the room and bathroom were. The premise was also kept very clean and appeared to be cleaned each night.

My only comment would be that during the breakfast rush someone should keep an eye on the coffee machines to have one brewing while the other is being used since they were both out after I got my coffee.

Location hospitality of staff was above and beyond what i expected .. Great breakfast !!! Plenty of options too .. fresh fruit yougart pancakes donuts cereal breakfast burrito ..Other hotels are still giving you I can't serve breakfast because of covid but not here . I'll stay here over lighthouse inn in crescent city anytime again .. pool was clean hot tub was working great atmosphere wonderful. 🙌 size of room was nice too .. plenty of clean towels room was clean 👌 🙌 and 24 hr coffee and tea 🍵

The king room with fireplace had an exceptional view. Trees, wildlife, view of the ocean from the balcony. Tesla charger down the street a short distance away.

Key card to the room stopped working multiple times during our two-day stay. receptionist fixed it each time, but each of our cards stopped working. Noticed that other people were having the same problem. Administration should fix this, as it is a real nuisance to not be able to get into your room when you want to.
