The motel had a nice curb appeal, looked well maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a dog friendly room which was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. It had a mini fridge and nice amenities; even a couple of treats for my dog. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play mini golf, but the course was cute and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

As with most dog friendly hotels/motels, we had a first floor room when I would have preferred an upper floor room. It also faced the hwy, so there was some road noise, but nothing you couldn't deal with. The streets seemed to roll up early, so that really helped.

We made a reservation for 8 nights, but decided to go down to San Francisco a couple of days earlier. We had exhausted options for our vacation in the Fort Bragg area and wanted to do more exploration closer to the city and make it easier to get to our return flight out of SFO. It seemed to be difficult for the hotel to give me a response on what could be done to revise our reservation. I chose to leave without further discussion just to avoid any additional time or angst to complicate or disrupt our otherwise pleasant stay.

Definitely will be back. Staff super kind. Family and pet friendly location . Free Continental Breakfast. Gifts and snacks available for purchase in office. This is in a great location with a short walk to the waves & nice Noyo River grill. Few minutes drive to Glass Beach , Skunk Train , Downtown plus many stores nearby . Lighthouse not too far of a drive away too. Comfortable, clean and affordable.

No microwave but there is a fridge. (Didn’t need either this time however.)

The woman who checked us in was exception with detail about food options. For two hikers - food is important! and we had been at it for 8 hours prior to check in. She also moved us to a top floor room in a building "across the street" for quiet. The room was very clean, obvious care went into our comfort. Beds were perfect, and the windows opened!

Perhaps breakfast - spending 7 nights in 7 hotels in No. California, kind of feel like it's a competition of who can provide pop tarts or prepackaged muffins. It may be that is what people like, but more bananas, and perhaps oatmeal, or danish?

The room was very clean, with comfortable beds. The location was perfect for us. There is a beautiful view of the ocean when you take an easy walk out on the nearby bluffs. There is a nice grocery store across the street and easy access to the main highway through Ft. Bragg.

I was wishing we had a microwave oven in the room. It’s nice to be able to warm up restaurant leftovers when staying out of town, or the delicious baked goods from the near by grocery store we purchased for breakfast.

Location is easy to find. Relatively quiet even though the property was full. The front desk staff was very helpful and cheerful. Room is very clean.

Only thing we couldn't tell is how to turn on the heat. The heater (we assume it's the machine next to the window since we couldn't find another heat vent) does not respond to anything we do on the thermostat on the wall. None of the buttons on that unit does anything. It was after 10, so we didn't call the front desk. Just doubled up on the comforter.

Location was prime. A shot down the street to a majestic coastal cliff and right of the freeway. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We're excited for our next visit again & again!

Everything was great. Although, the arcade room was very outdated and it seemed like very minimal maintenance. It was disappointing, but the staff were still accommodating and refunded me with a few free games. This area is advertised so it should be in working order or closed permanently. I'm sure the owner could do without the bean-shaped pool for one year to, instead, put funds towards this fine establishment.

It is a very pleasant place. Simple but everything what you could need is available. It’s also very clean. Location is additional plus - just on the way to/out of the city. Friendly staff at the front desk recommended places to visit and dine. Highly recommend was especially breakfast place “David’s short drive just across the street. BTW there is coffee/tea in the morning and small snack so you can grab something on your way out.

Very nicely maintained, clean, well ventilated and easy access, good parking. Very comfortable stay especially when we were with 2 kids age 11 and 5, loved the mini golf and arcade. Would highly recommend this place to all visiting Fort Bragg with family

Mini golf water attraction is little uncomfortable with small kids trying to pick the ball flowing into the water falls each time, as a parent I am scared and not sure if the water is safe and clean but since there was froth I was concerned.

The staff was extremely friendly, the room was a very comfortable temperature and much bigger than I expected, and the towels were super soft! And of course you can't beat having mini golf right outside your door. We also played pool in the arcade. They have some really neat beach themed items in their lobby. It's also close to food, walked to McDonald's to get a late night snack and in the morning we walked to David's restaurant for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
