The desk clerks were very friendly and helpful.We asked for extra towels and they were delivered in five minutes. Dino was outstanding and attentive to all of our concerns.It would be helpful if the handicapped bathroom had a table for toiletries.We will return soon.

A table for toiletries in the handicapped room would be fantastic. A small table next to the large chair would be most useful.

The staff was amazing, the hotel was clean and pretty updated, they let DoorDash come to my room, the pool was warm and clean, lots of patio seating by the pool, fitness center was lovely, warm cookies.

THE TRAIN. There is a train that goes behind the parking garage across the street and it has to honk his horn when it crosses the intersection on either side. It’s super loud. Parking Was expensive and Across The Street and you had to take a sky bridge was not attached to the hotel. The downtown area had a lot of homelessness and I was advised to not wander the streets at night. Hot tub jets were broken.

Spacious room, very clean, overall good value. Have heard good things about this hotel and was not disappointed. The bathroom and additional seating in the room worth both appreciated. More of a suite than a room, for sure.

Very little about the experience was negative. Was double-charged for valet, but it was fixed very quickly. It was busy when we checked in, but there was more than one event going on, so you can't expect anything else.

Very helpful staff. Friendly, too. I liked that the maid didn't have to come daily. I asked for coffee supplies and got everything I asked for.

The elevator was confusing. I thought the information for my room was on the card key given me, but I found out I needed to use the key then push the floor button. The bar closed too early.

The breakfast was pretty great. Room was a little high in price but not completely unreasonable. I wish they offered a locals discount. We live up the street and would stay more often (possibly several times a year) at a lower rate.

Neighbors were trying to unlock the door that joins the rooms. It made it a little uncomfortable but I guess the hotel can't be at fault for that. I did call the front desk and it was resolved.

Breakfast was not included with the room.

Several families book rooms. Most did not have breakfast at the hotel due to the price. For the price of the room, I believe breakfast and parking should be have been included. Traffic and train noise was another issue.

Needed an overnight stop on the way from San Francisco to Kings Canyon. Location was great, within walking distance to bars and restaurants. Unfortunately, it being 4 July, everything was closed in Modesto, so we ate in the hotel bar. The food was great and we were really well looked after by the bar staff.

More sun loungers could have been made available around the pool.

We try to stay at Doubletrees as often as possible because we know what to expect. Comfy beds and always clean. Nice rooms and not at all crowded.

Everything was perfect. Nothing out of place foe a relaxing evening.

The breakfast was expensive and the quality was not according. We requested a continental breakfast but the fruit (pineapple and the bananas) were not good. The croissants were stale. We had dinner the night before however it was very good. The service was good The

Smelled and looked clean. Staff super attentive.

No microwaves in the rooms. There vending machine by the pool over charged me $7 times 6 times when I only purchase a water and soft drink
