The receptionist was very polite and nice. She was able to understand that my driver license was expired and accept my renewal dmv paperwork. We liked that we can park our car in front of the room so it was easy to get our stuff. The room was cleaned. We didn’t used their blankets because we had ours. There is a small tv and a small refrigerator.

Just one thing, in the room, there is a coffee machine , the coffee and a little bucket but there is no water. I didn’t understand why was the little bucket there. So I could not make me a coffee.. but it was ok.

This hotel was spotlessly clean, modern in its decor, comfortable bed and fluffy towels, nice refrigerator and furniture, and walking distance to the Monterey Fair Grounds (where we were attending a festival). There is also a very nice restaurant (Monterey Cookhouse) and a CVS drug store both walking distance from the hotel. The proprietor was kind enough to allow us to check in early as the room was available. She was a very pleasant person who made us feel welcome.

I have no complaints about this hotel-I recommend it!

Excellent location for visiting Monterey and Carmel, easy on and off freeway or easy to drive to Monterey harbor area. A very nice family restaurant is across the street for dinner. Great breakfasts to the north in Seaside or back to the harbor area. It is near the airport, but seems to be mostly active in daytime.

Everything was ok....a few things could've been improved. Hopefully our next stay isn't like this one.

The beds were a double size and my reservation was for a queen size so we were not accommodated there..then the deposit was $200 which is unusual because we usually only pay $100 if at all...also, we had asked for a late check out and were denied....we checked in at midnight so we paid $140 for approximately 11 hours....not very good customer service if you ask us...we stay in hotels quite a bit on the peninsula so our time and money are very important to us...

The check in process was quick and easy. The front desk gent was friendly and very accommodating. Denny's restaurant was right across the street. The room was very clean and the property was quite and pleasant. Enjoyed my stay.

The parking lot was a bit tight, other than that everything was else was fine.

Very clean They allowed me to cancel my reservation after I spent one night there. I needed a microwave in the room for special meals. They were very sweet to me and let me get a refund. I really appreciated them.❤️

The front staff was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. We had never been in Monterey before, so they provided much info that was very helpful. Great location that was close to all we wanted to see.

Really not much that we did not like. The only thing was that smokers were able to smoke directly outside of the rooms and the air conditioning unit drew that smokey air into our room. Maybe the smoker's area should be on the other side of the parking lot from the rooms side of the parking lot.

Location was good and parking was accessible. Very clean, hot water and nice staff.

Room’s smell could be better, since it seems like they spray something with bleach or kind of that, so it is a strong smell at the beginning when you open the doors.

Close to Del Monte Beach and lots of restaurants. Not a touristy area but close to freeway and sights.

Could hear folks in the next room but fan and earplugs took care of that. No breakfast but they did have coffee and a little snack.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this motel: the room was big and clean, it looked fresh and not outdated as most motels do. It was sparkly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Easy check-in and check-out and great location to explore Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea! (Free parking in front of your room)

We came from a very rundown motel so we were actually very impressed with this one! It could've been a little bit less noisy and the bathroom could use some updating but nothing too crazy.
