This motel is so fantastically located. The recreational trail is right across the road and it's 25 mins walk into town. I loved being able to walk everywhere. Across the road and just beyond the houses in front of the motel is the local beach. Just 5 mins walk and it's full of beautiful seabirds. Starbucks is next door for your morning coffee. The office has a microwave in you want to heat up some food. The couple who run the motel are lovely. It's comfortable simple and a great price for a great location.

It's a little noisy with traffic in the mornings so you'll need ear plugs if you want a lie in.

Gone all day into the evening so room was very warm and stuffy when I returned. I tried to use the A/C but it would not stay running; The problem seems to be in the cord or the outlet it was plugged into. It was 11pm before I gave up trying to use the A/C. I opened my window but the curtain was heavy and fresh air could not flow. I sweated all night as it was so warm in the room. Horrible end to a great day. I would have gave all high scores if the fan worked. Please check the wiring of the fan in room 109 to avoid a possible fire.

The court was nice with ivy on the facades. At the other side of the street there was a nice running and bicycle track, leading to center and harbour and on the other direction to the beach, which was not far!

The motel is directly situatet at the Del Monte Street, which is very noisy day and night. There was no coffee machine and no microwave in the room and only one chair. Also there was a clothes rail in the room but no hanger. Thats a bit poor in this price cathegorie

it was a nice size room and have a good work desk and a comfortable bed

even though the Wi-Fi would connect and could not get any Internet access, even after trying to work through the issue with the desk. I’ve been able to use my Wi-Fi at every other hotel I have stayed with in the last year.

Spacious room, on a main road however you cannot hear cars at night. Friendly staff let me leave my luggage for a few hours after I checked out. Walk to a really nice beach is only 10 minutes and it takes about 20 minutes to get into town by foot.

The price was quite expensive, but Monterey is very pricey in general.

The hotel offers a great value for its location. The hotel is located on a busy street, but traffic and noise decrease in the early evening. Room is simple, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

there was a stain on one of the towels one towel so that’s why I ranted the cleaning as good and not excellent. At night there’s a lot of cars passing so it was a bit hard to fall asleep.
