The location is within walking distance to restaurants and other establishments. About 7 mins. walk to their main downtown. The town has a free trolley that you can go around Monterey. Make sure you are in the right trolley stop. The parking space is limited on the main floor but they have an underground parking with plenty of space. Room is nice and clean but the hotel itself is located on the main roads so bring earplugs or NyQuil because it tends to be noisy even at night. Easy check in and check out and the office is staffed 24 hours and also a free coffee, hot chocolate, etc.

Bed extremely comfortable as were pillows. Extra blanket provided. Two luggage holders provided. Lighting for reading in bed exceptional with two flexible spotlight lamps attached to headboard. Good hair dryer provided and plenty of good towels. Good refrigerator. Great location.

NO USB by bedside area. MUCH needed. Parking, if get in late is limited, and requires parking on street and move car by 11am . No longer serve breakfast. ONLY supplies packet powdered creamer rather than Original Coffeemate (UNSWEETENED) and/or Half and Half both in room and in front office, They need to do that.

Small parking lot, had to park on the street. We had a corner room and the curtains weren’t able to close all the way for some reason so since the curtains were white, anyone from outside was able to see us from inside if lights were turned on which was unpleasant.

The hotes is situated within a short walk from all of the downtown restaurants and bars as well as the Old Fishermans Wharf. An excellent location. There was coffee, tea and filtered water all day and night in the reception. There were plenty of parking spaces available as there is an underground car park. Our room was well serviced and very clean with a large bathroom. We can definately recommend this hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very walkable, close proximity to Alvarado Street. Our room was extremely clean and modern. Everything worked well, and the linens and towels were clean and soft. Parking was great, we opted to park in the underground garage to keep the car out of the rain. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall the quality for the prove is outstanding. We would stay again.

The ONLY downside is that it’s near a busy intersection so the road noise is a bit loud.

Hotel room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were extremely friendly upon check in and very helpful when asking for advice in getting around etc. Hotel location is about a 10 to 15 min walk to fishermans wharf, which was perfect. Also close to other restaurants and bars.

Very much a motel which is located behind a petrol station on a busy road. But once the door is closed, you could be anywhere.

pros: friendly staff, great location-very walkable to everything: wharf, downtown, cannery row even, parking on site, clean, some updated interior, location again is the key here.

cons: on the corner of a busy street with bus stop, windows could have been better to block out street noise (I would stay here again but with some earplugs) all noise was done by 11pm though. it’s set-up like a motel so all doors are outside no interior hallways for noise buffer

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room itself was well sized, clean and has all the amenities you require. The shower was great and the bathroom itself very spacious. Coffee was available in the reception area at all times as well as provided in the room. Parking was free and plentiful. The location is great an easy and pleasant walk to the main parts of Monterey. Would definitely recommend/visit again.

Our group of 9 all got rooms next to each other and we managed to get two adjoining rooms which was really helpful. Fine location to walk to places. Parking garage spaces were very roomy, and elevator was very convenient for getting there and checkout-checkin. Coffee/tea was available in the lobby along with a microwave available there.

Fridges in rooms do not have a freezer section so we couldn't keep our ice packs cold for our allergy-friendly food. Doors are all exposed to the outside which meant open to the weather when going between rooms (those not adjoining at least). Disappointing that the nice breakfast I was expecting was not available due to COVID restrictions.

Easy access to some of the fabulous restaurants for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We stayed for 6 days and experienced all 24/7 staff on duties & they were all exceptional, very helpful and attentive to our daily questions & needs. We even had the chance to chat with the managers of the property and both very nice and family friendly atmosphere from all the staff. From room caretaker, front desk, management, all very nice, helpful and friendly. Love the shower. Overall experienced met and some exceeded our expectations during our stay. Besides having desk, for our lap tap/computer, it would be lovely to add one more mini table with two mini chairs by the window just to use for morning coffee and view the lovely downtown from the window.
