Large room with a high ceiling, fireplace. and cute South Pacific decor. Very hot shower. Nice continental breakfast. Sweet reception.

Mattress hard/uncomfortable, needs replacing. Supplies not restocked after cleaning. We would definitely stay again, if mattress is updated. Do leave a note for the service staff about replenishing supplies.

The picture of the hotel is misleading. We stayed in a normal house, but still the room was nice and spacious and clean. The balcony was nice. The breakfast was very nice! The staff also was very nice. Parking was available for a fee.

The misleading cover photo of a Victorian House, since you won‘t be staying there most likely. The room was dark, hardly any daylight came in. The road is a bit noisy.

The room was very cozy. We enjoyed the continental breakfast. The whole aesthetic of the room was pleasing. I enjoy the fact that all the rooms had sort of a theme to them.

i think there was only one thing that i disliked about the room. it wasn't even anything that bad. The cushions on one of the chairs needed to be cleaned a bit. Otherwise, the room was terrific!

Our room was incredibly spacious and newly decorated. We had a little outdoor area we could sit, with a view of the garden and was close by to the carpark to bring our belongings in. It is a short walk to Alvarado Street, which has a great selection of cool bars and restaurants to choose from. The Old Fisherman's Wharf is just 10minutes on foot, where most of the Whale Watching tours depart from so very convenient if you want to do that. We walked from there up to Cannery Row, but you could also cycle. The continental was simple but perfectly adequate for our needs, and there are plenty of options close by should you prefer to get a cooked breakfast.

Breakfast was quite basic, but we were happy to venture out for something a bit more substantial. We were on the second floor and there wasn't a lift. This was ok for us but might be more of a struggle if you had issues carrying your bags.

The location of the hotel was in easy walking distance of Fisherman’s Wharf and several restaurants and pubs. Easy check and despite the outside appearance of the hotel looking a bit motel style in places, the room was excellent and very comfortable. Big room with a great bed. Fridge included and nice looking furniture and fittings

Nothing really.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and accurate to the pictures. Like always, the bed was uncomfortable by night three. But, that is standard travel experience. Due to California’s drought we were asked if we would like a change of daily towels which was fine. We completely understand. We were impressed by the complementary continental daily breakfast. A nice variety of breakfast items, a pleasant area to eat in or option to grab and go. The location of the property exceeded our expectations! So close to the wharf and neighborhood restaurants. Also, :20 drive to Laguna Seca Raceway.

Kind of bummed we had smokers next door. They smoked outside of their room on the balcony. We’re just not used to smokers.

Room lovely, staff helpful & friendly, love the log burner. We did like it here. Great location.

Paying for parking when on site. Could be free. Breakfast, not enough room, family were waiting to sit at limited tables , so felt pressured to leave . Would benefit from more options in seating & where food was served was cramped.

The style of the hotel is fun and unique and the location is great for what we needed. Nice that breakfast was also included. Nice bathrooms.

The parking situation at the hotel is limited on the day you check out. You can’t leave your car there for long after you’ve checked out, and everywhere is paid parking in Monterey. I was hoping for a place to leave our car for a bit so we could explore.

The hotel is situated close to the old fisherman's wharf. You can make a coffee in the room, the bed is very comfortable and the room is clean. They serve delicious breakfasts here.

parking is $ 15 per day. Unfortunately, although I booked a room with a balcony, it turned out that all rooms with a balloon are occupied.

Good breakfast. Attractive but small room with lots of natural light. Location was good for walking to events at Marriott or other downtown venues. Two luggage stands provided.

No elevator and a circuitous walk plus stairs to get luggage to rooms. Parking is cramped and should be included with room rate, not $15 extra per night. Outdated heating. Too many decorative items on every flat surface make a small room smaller. Skylight and no blackout curtains mean it's bright early. Breakfast room has only 3 tables.
