Location and atmosphere. Within walking distance to everything! All of the beaches we went to were just minutes away (driving). It was within walking distance to fisherman’s warf and many shops and restaurants! Our hotel room and the hotel itself was beautiful and clean. We had a great experience with the lady at the front desk as well, she even went above and beyond to get us a fan to cool down our room which helped us tremendously!

Although this hotel states that it’s pet friendly (which is awesome) there wasn’t any areas that allowed our dog to potty so it made it hard and we had to walk and try to find spots for her that were away from the hotel. We also wished they had a pool! That would’ve made the stay perfect. Although they had a secluded hot tub, it was down during our stay.

Location, location, location. We loved walking down to the pier in the evening. So much going on. The room was very cuzy with a fire place and king bed. It was nice to have breakfast available too. Would definitely stay there again.

Just a few things. Had a hard time finding the ice machine and front desk told us where to go, however, it was out of order. Would have been helpful if the front desk knew this and directed us elsewhere. Also, the hot tub and breakfast location was very random. We had to have someone actually take us to the hot tub and it would have been great to have a sign on the street with an arrow pointing to the breakfast. It was funny, we had so many people we saw wandering around trying to find this or that. But really it was all good. Thank you.

Hotel Pacific is located in a prime area, in Old Monterey. The room was comfortable as were the beds, a nice surprise. Outside of the room was a large fountain, which was both nice to listen to and muffled any potential street noise. For the price, this room was a good value.

Our room was on the 2nd floor. During the day, there was a lot of noise from the floor above, but not so much that it disturbed the peace. The coffee machine in the room is too small for the size of the suite we had. When we checked in, we were told we wouldn't have daily maid service. We did have service twice in 6 days. In that case, we should have been given more towels, coffee, and other room supplies. Just a small but important point to remember to make sure guests are comfortable. I just checked room rates for February, hoping to stay here again. The rates are MUCH higher than in December. I will be staying elsewhere. How unfortunate.

Great amenities. They thought of everything you might need. You could have a comfortable long term stay in one of the suites. The room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great price and location.

Unfortunately, the room we stayed in was right next to the ice machine and on the busy street. My husband couldn't sleep because of all the noise. If we were put in a different room, I would give the hotel a 10/10.

The location and esthetic of the hotel were great. Walking distance to wharf. I am happy that parking and breakfast were included. Breakfast was good with various choices. The suite was spacious with a nice fireplace. The bathroom has a separate soaking tub and shower, which is helpful when traveling with a large family.

I didn't like that because we stayed more than one night, we didn't get housekeeping to dispose of garbage, make beds, and restock clean towels. The matresses werent very comfortable. When we asked for additional towels for the first evening, we were told there weren't any left. The line at breakfast was long due to a lack of clean plates, and parking spaces were narrow.

Location was excellent walking distance to wharf and stores. Perfect for taking a stroll. Enjoyed the walk before sunrise and at sunset. The suite was cozy with a homey feel. We were very happy with the layout of the room.

We were disappointed with the poor quality of the cable. Analog brought back childhood memories. It was just missing the antennas. Complimentary breakfast was a disappointment. I felt like it was bagged more for the liking of a preschooler. While the grab and go style was convenient, it would be better if guests had an option to choose what we want. We had a lot of waste.

The room was huge. It was almost like a whole apartment: bedroom, living room, kitchenette with provided plates (2) and plastic cutlery. Real fireplace with wood and tools. And they provided matches for it, which was really a nice touch. Rather big but kinda empty looking patio (although, there was 2 patio chairs). Jacuzzi and a separate shower were spotless. The layout of the hotel was very untraditional: you can spend couple of days just wondering around, and trying to figure it out. the inside felt like a Mediterranean cottage. Complimentary breakfast was not bad. They have coffee and hot water (for tea and instant hot chocolate) + a paper bag with an apple, a bottle of apple juice, sweet roll and a granola bar.

Doors were a bit of wore off: inside and outside ones. Parking was extra charge. There was no milk for coffee, just those coffee mate small containers. Mosquitos at the patio, so we could not leave the door open (the weather was gorgeous!)
