The location of the resort was great. You could see the ocean and beach from the room. The kitchen was equipped with all of the key essentials for cooking. I love the free parking. The elevators come right away. The wrist bands were great for security. Also, the door to our room had security features on it. We felt very safe.

What I did not like was being bothered by the person at the desk that provides you with the wrist bands to attend a breakfast/meeting. After traveling all day, the only thing you want is to go to your room and relax. You do not want to be pressured into attending a meeting. When you tell the person you are not interested in the meeting, that you have been there before and that you know the full purpose of the meeting, this person should understand your position and leave you alone.

The room is perfect size for family of 5 - 2 separate bedrooms and a pullout sofa, with 2 separate bathrooms, plus kitchenette & washer/dryer. Beach and restaurants all in walking distance so we never needed our car. Fitness center had great options for all kinds of workouts.

Hate the sales pitch for the timeshare right at check-in. It's very pushy and obnoxious. The elevator is always going the wrong way and gets very congested during the morning hours for all the people who decide to go to the timeshare "meeting." Wish the room service folks would have stocked our room with eough initial supplies to last us for our entire duration - we stayed 3 nights and only had enough supplies for 2 (coffee, detergent, etc)

great location, good spacious one-bedroom suites were perfect for our family with kids.

I had an issue when changing reservation dates and booking.com accidentally placed an extra $850 charge. It took me a total of 5 hrs of phone calls over a period of 3 days/repeat calls with both hotel and booking.com to resolve it. It was very frustrating. It was finally resolved, but wish this wasn't such a painful experience and didn't take almost a full working day out of my life to fix an error of booking.com rep!

The room was very well-appointed we had everything we needed would have preferred a straight out Ocean View was very happy to hear the ocean and to be so close to the ocean

I did not like being right outside the swimming pool would have preferred to be higher up with a better View the ocean also the makeup mirror in the bathroom was not very well attached to the wall

The location was perfect with a very short walk to the beach with plenty of restaurants to choose from

Well not a really a bad thing but the sofa bed mattress was uncomfortable with “springs” would have been nice to have a memory foam mattress, the property ran out of wrist bands for the guest, still not a bad thing, the room keys were sufficient 

The room was clean and perfect for our stay. Close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Pier. Would highly recommend. The only down-side was the sales pitch. Just be ready with your "Gam-Face"

I'm in sales. I don't like being Sold. Don't try to be helpful only to reel me with a sales pitch. Very annoying. I am not interested in a $100.00 food gift certificate if it will cost me four hours of my vacation time. Who uses Time Shares anyways?

The location of this property is what drew us to book here. You literally can’t get closer to the beach. We are now spoiled and can’t stay anywhere else. The two bedrooms was amazing. Having a full kitchen and a washer and dryer were amazing. We washed our beach towels and swimsuits after every beach visit. We were walking distance to anything we wanted to see, plenty of restaurants and sights to see.

Only down side was the Wi-Fi. The free version was crap.

Wonderful stay to take in the beach vibe and to explore beautiful downtown Oceanside. We used the Coaster while we were there. Took us to the PetCo Park and to the airport. Would recommend the Wyndam Pier to my friends and family.

The only thing we wished we had, was more time!! Such a great spot to chill on a bench overlooking the water or a walk on the Pier. There wasn't anything here that I did not like. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The property had everything you could want, large rooms, huge jacuzzi bath, hot tub and pool overlooking the ocean, sauna, huge gym, and included parking… plus it’s walkable to the beach!

They tried to get us to come to a timeshare presentation, but luckily we checked in late and just ignored their notes, so we didn’t go and it wasn’t a problem.

Every member of the staff met our eyes and greeted us, asked if we needed anything, and smiled! We stayed mid-week so we asked for a complementary upgrade and were given a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite!

Had a little trouble turning down the temp in the room. We never asked for help but I am certain they would have sent someone if we had. We just turned it off and were fine.
