Room was very clean and bed was really comfortable.

The room view was not as advertised. This was not the fault of the hotel, but it was a very misleading ad by Booking.com ... The photos in the ad show the room patios directly facing the beach and the pier. The hotel has 2 buildings and the one we were put in does not have a beach view at all. VERY disappointing for the price we paid. We were told at check in that there is no option to pay extra for a beach view. You get what they give you only. Accomodations are nice but we will not stay there again.

When I stay at the Southern California beach club I feel like I've come home. I never want to leave. To me it's perfection. Can't wait till I can come back. Waiting for my favorite two rooms to be available. The location is walking distance to everything There is activity in Oceanside on the Strand 24 hours a day. I enjoy bringing a different friend with me every time , so they can experience the Southern California beach club

The room is never available more than 2 days in a row. My stay is never long enough

The location was perfect across the street from the beach. Our accommodations had a townhouse arrangement with the bedroom and full bathroom on the second floor. The first floor had a half bathroom, living/dining room and kitchen along with a patio. There were also outdoor gas grills available for guests, which we also used. There was also a bike path directly outside that we enjoyed too. We loved it. We will definitely return to this wonderful place.

There was nothing we did not like.

We traveled to be near the beach, while there was very little sand at the beach the room made up for it. This room was like a home away from home. Could not have been more pleased and comfortable.

I would like to be able to get into our room earlier than 4pm. We wanted a place to go if we got tired of the beach and we arrived early but still had to wait until 4pm.

Great location and very nice staff. The room was very clean and great for the price. I would stay here again.

Honestly the ONLY thing I didn’t like was that there weren’t any trash cans in any of the rooms other than the kitchen so all the trash we had from either the bathroom or bedrooms had to be carried downstairs.

had an absolutely amazing time at the Southern Californian Beach Club. Location was perfect, room was amazing. We were positively surprised that parking was included, didn’t know about that. We would like to highlight John from Front Office, he was very kind and helpful. Once again, thank you for your great service.

Some things I enjoyed about the property were the location and staff. It was right next to the water and any questions or concerns I had, the staff were able to address swiftly.

One negative about this location is the small parking garage

This is a very nice property steps away from the beach and the staff are there to make your stay an incredible one. The one bedroom was spacious and sparkling clean! The amenities are very thoughtful bikes they lend you , beach chairs , beach towels , umbrellas and beach toys just sign them out at the front desk. I will be back again.

Everything was awesome

The location could not have been better. We were right on the beach and a short walk to many places to eat! The room was a great size and the patio was perfect! The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

We went in January so we didn't need AC, but if it were hotter I could see the lack of AC being a downer.

We had a room on the fourth floor, so perfect view of the beach! It was two floors and really pretty.

The parking was a bit hectic, we had a mini van so it didn’t fit in the parking lot, thus we had to park in the street. It was okay since they gave us a parking pass so we didn’t have to pay, but just our luck we went on a Monday with street sweeping so we had to move the car twice. Other then that small hiccup, it didn’t ruin the trip at all. Just something to keep in mind!
