Comfort Suites Oceanside Camp Pendleton Area

Staff was wonderful! Very accommodating with large families. Rooms were very clean. But snug with 5 in a room. 😉 Breakfast was great. Pool is not heated so that was a bummer because it's October. And the water pressure in our room was very low. Is that a California thing? We almost never heard another guest. Rooms are very quiet. Parking is easy and overall very happy! Would stay again!

Fan in our bathroom wasn't a problem, but it was pretty loud. We leave the bathroom light on at night for our kids and the fan is connected to the light. Between that and the fan/air unit in our room, I had to sleep with ear plugs.

Location was great. Easy to drive to beach. Easy to jump on freeway. Breakfast was really good--my family loved the hot omelettes/ bacon. One day the food ran out or the employee maybe wasn't as attentive as the previous day...lots of people returning to the hot food to see that it hadn't been refilled. Small mix-up with room checking in. Were sent to one room to find that there was a maintenance worker working on the door lock and the room wasn't available. Had to go back to front desk to get re-assigned to different room but that was a small hiccup.

The gym left a lot to be desired. Aside from one stationary bike and the cable machine, the other machines weren't functioning (ellipticals)...couldn't get them to turn on. Lots of little flies/gnat type bugs in our bathroom.

This was a great stay! The beds were super comfortable, staff was nice, the room was spacious, and the area was super nice with everything being close by. The breakfast was also very good and the free parking was convenient.

While it was generally clean, the room smelled really dusty and I even got allergies from it the first night. There was also a bundle of hair in one of our pillow sheets.

The room was very clean, including the bathroom, bathtub and everything. It was also very roomy. The bed was very comfortable and had a wonderful night sleep. We were in the area visiting some friends who unfortunately live in a very small apartment so we got a hotel room for the night before we headed back home in the morning. Enjoyed that we could have breakfast in the morning before heading out, coffee, juice and all that. It was a pleasant stay for such a short notice reservation.

area where pull out bed was smelt like a dog had been there. everything else was clean. sheets smelt clean just general area had dog smell that I picked up on every now and then. also, shower water pressure really low; I am assuming because of regulations. just thankful to have hot water.

Breakfast was good. Location of Hotel was perfect. Alot of stores and restaurants within minutes. Gas station infront of Hotel was a big plus for us. It was also one of the cheaper ones we saw around.

Breakfast hours could be a little longer. (Maybe 30min to an hour more longer) We overslept a few days (since we were on vacation, that's what you do lol) and missed breakfast.

Good location, friendly staff, and no issues for a reasonable price. Very comfortable bed and plenty for space in the room to spread out.

My slight quibble is that breakfast was so-so, but I can’t complain too much about complementary food. It was also hard to regulate the heat and humidity in the bathroom, since there was no easy way to prop open the door. (Bathroom was a bit small.)

Staff was helpful and friendly, rooms were clean and the pool was great, the kids had a lot of fun. Breakfast had a good amount of options. It was an enjoyable experience and we will definitely stay there again.

Can't really complain but as far as sofa beds go... it actually wasn't that bad. The mini fridge in the room wasn't working at first but we eventually got it going with the help of the front desk lady.

Our room was clean, the location is perfect and we were able to walk to the beach, most of the staff was nice and friendly.

When we got there I noticed a big stain on the couch, I mean I know it wasn’t going to be perfect but you would think they would at least try to clean it out. We stayed for 4 days and the only thing I did not like is that I had to ask for room service even though I just needed trash taken out. I was only staying for a few days but I figured they go in and take trash out daily without me asking, other than that I loved the location and the stay was pretty comfortable.

All staff encountered were great and the cleanliness.

My room had a fridge that ticked all day and night, so it made it difficult to sleep through the entire night. Also, the blinds were not fully operable and I didn’t have a shade to block out the daylight on the large window. We had to place a blanket over it to avoid the freeway lights at night and sunlight at sunrise.
