It was so calm and peaceful at the hotel. We didn’t want to leave. The other guests (only adults) were quiet and respectful. Staff were friendly and prepared a light breakfast for us each morning. The view of the mountains from the pool area was beautiful. Housekeeping was excellent. Our room was always super clean. The hotel had nice amenities. The kitchen in our room was useful. They even had a couple bikes for guests to use. And the downtown strip was only a short drive away. You could walk or bike there too if you wanted to.

The chaise lounges by the pool area were warped from overuse and should probably be replaced for future guests because they were a bit uncomfortable for us. We experienced problems with the water pressure and temperature in our bathroom shower, but we’ve found this is often the case with older properties such as this. We both got mosquito bites during our stay.

Perfect for a couple, intimate: only nine rooms which all open overlooking the pool area. You get to speak with everyone, most are regularly visitors to the hotel. Our room was very spacious, with its own kitchen area. We had our own separate terrace at the back, next time I’ll choose one without as it’s more social to sit out front to chat and meet other guests. It’s got it’s own bike hire if you want to leave the car in the off street parking. It’s a lovely safe and friendly place to stay, wish we’d booked more nights. Next year we will.

I can’t think of anything obvious… I’d have to get real picky and that would be unfair

This was such a beautiful quiet little oasis. Having the studio suite made it feel more homey than a generic hotel room. Having the continental breakfast appear magically every morning in the office was great.

The wifi was so slow as to be unusable in our suite. Apparently it was better in other suites, but we had to go sit outside the office if we wanted to get on the internet or download a show to watch.

The location was great, close to everything. We did not have warm weather, so we didn't use the pool or our terrace, but the hot tub was great. We were leaving one day and the housekeeper identified herself, said she was leaving, but asked if there was anything we needed. Very nice of her!

The continental breakfast was minimal but I will say that I like quality baked goods. We used the kitchenette and went out for good bagels (Townie Bagels!) for breakfast.

Nice peaceful place to end our southern California swing. Really enjoyed the kitchenette, the location tucked back in a neat little neighborhood, the bikes were a nice thought too. Thought this place a really great value for what you got.

My one constructive criticism would be the check in time is very tight from 3pm to 5pm. Otherwise you have to upload photo id's, credit card info etc. to self check in and get a code. This can be inconvenient pulled off on the side of the road after a long day of travel. Perhaps at least 7pm would be more ideal?

Appreciated the Starbuck's coffee every morning!!! The cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the cleaners was outstanding. The pools and grounds were beautiful and sparkling clean. Loved the large sliding glass doors in the room and having a kitchen space. Very, very nice room - never tired of it even after 8 nights!

For extended stays - a change of breakfast items every couple days would be nice. Better signage for the Avance turnoff on Grenfall would make finding the hotel easier, such as an AVANCE sign on Ramon.

No humans there after 5 pm. we had to fill out registration form online while traveling & get our own key, try to figure out where our room was etc after driving more than 12 hours to get there. we booked online before knowing the Grapevine would be closed and alternate route would add hours to our drive and since this property had a pay in full beforehand with no refunds no matter what, we had to keep going, though dead tired. otherwise we would have cancelled and booked a room much earlier in the evening. We’ve learned our lesson and will only book with free properties with free cancellation policies from now on.

We were staying in one of the bigger apartments, which had all the amenities and then some more - cocktail set anyone? ;) The apartment was very clean, the room was spacious as well as bathroom. Very cozy beds (one of best on our stay in USA actually!), free parking and good wi-fi. We appreciated very much complimentary breakfast as free rental of their bikes, for cruising around Palm Springs. It is like 15-20 min easy ride on bike to the centre of Palm Springs.

The only thing that bothered us was too much plastic usage pretty much everywhere. Coming from Europe, where you basically can not buy plastic straws or plastic bags anymore, it was quite a shock how everything is wrapped in foil at breakfast, only plastic plates and cups are offered. And no, COVID-19 just can't be an excuse for everything - you can avoid plastic and still be even more sanitary than with plastic. Being an environmental conscious and sustainable touristic stay goes beyond just the bathroom signs "Save our planet", when it comes to replacing the towels every day. It is the only reason that this is not a 10+ stay.

This is a very sweet place - not too big, not too small. Nice view of the mountains, great hot tub and pool. The location is great! We were able to bike easily from there. "Free" loaner bicycle was very convenient - old school and nothing fancy, but nice for tooling around. Staff was very friendly. Late check-in was easy.

Our Rm2a should only be rented with Rm2. The room shares a wall with the office so when anyone was talking there, we heard it. The room was advertised as a Classic studio but there was no granite working counter or kitchenette as shown on the website. The heater controls were in Rm2 so we suffered in the night with our neighbors in Rm2 keeping the heat up. Yes, there was an air conditioner in our room but we turned it off as we didn't think we'd need it at night. We didn't discover the heating issue until our last night. The extra $25 fee was unexpected and unwelcome. After overpaying for a mis-advertised room, it was insult to injury.

It is a wonderful hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful from before my arrival through my stay and departure. The property is well maintained. The rooms are very clean and well-stocked. The pool was perfect! We had breakfast and coffee in the lobby every day. Excellent touch! I felt very taken care of my entire stay. If you are looking to unwind and relax this is the place not to mention it is close to downtown Palm Springs.
