We stopped there to break up the journey from Big Sur to LA, so just a one night stay but beautiful Beachfront location and could get free towels and deck chairs to take on the beach, lots of places to eat and drink within yards of the hotel. Fantastic beach bar albeit expensive, but best sliders I've had.

The rooms have ajoining doors to the next room and unfortunately there was a baby crying in the next room - that's life - but maybe some soundproofing on the door could be done, more of an irritation and did not spoil the wonderful time we had at Pismo Beach!

Very convenient location, loved having coffee bar/ Den for a bite to eat.

There was some construction going on a few doors down on a balcony that went on from early morning until after 5:00 pm with alot of grinding made it hard to relax in the room or on the balcony. I know work needs to get done and upgrades made but would have appreciated some notice, and we would have planned that time away from the hotel.

Stay was amazing, until the middle of the night there was a loud banging noise and vibration in the room. Made it hard, for my family to sleep at ease afterwards. I did call the front desk, he explained exactly what happened and asked if there was anything he could assist with . There was a couple of fresh looking stains that looked like they were missed on the carpet but not a deal breaker..

Great location just steps from the beach. Friendly staff, complimentary towels, beach chairs and beach toys available for use, good food. Comfortable, clean rooms. We enjoyed our stay!

Our room was on the first floor right near the laundry room for housekeeping, there’s lots of bustling going on outside the door which is understandable but a little noisy. Other than that we loved our room and will come back again 😊♥️🌊☀️

Location was ideal.

I got charged $25.00 a day for parking, I was not made aware of the charge when booking in although I was given a permit to put in my car. I assumed this was free for guests. I put a credit card down on my daughters room and although nothing was spent there was a $75 pending charge still showing 4 days later, I am watching this like a hawk waiting to see if it clears out.

Brigette at the front desk was extremely helpful with every question and request I had for her. She was such a delight to deal with and definitely customer oriented; a real "people person".

I hadn't noticed an open window so had to deal with outside noise issues the first night which was my fault but could clearly hear other residents in the hallway and the ice machine down the hall as there was no door in that room. The hotel is refurbishing which it definitely needs as an older facility but we had to deal with construction workers our last two days.

Perfect location on the beach. Our family of three stayed here on Thanksgiving day. Easy check in. We had the end room on the second floor with a partial view. Nice balcony to sit out on and enjoy the sound of crashing waves. Starbucks coffee and fridge were a plus. Beds were comfortable and fire pits on shared patio added an extra bliss on the overnight stay in Pismo. Great customer service by entire staff!

The staff was fantastic (Bridget). The location and room was great. We wished we stayed at The Sandcastle 3 days instead of one. We went up to Monterey and the room and staff didn’t compare.

The bathroom was cramped. The shower head needed to be replaced as it moved around a lot. The toilet handle was on the left side (very strange) and there should be towel bars for your hand towels on the walls on each side of the sink.

I really enjoyed the fire pits outside. The host helped me keep my cake inside the fridge since the cooler in the room wasn’t big enough. And they gave us complimentary drinks at the cafe for my mom’s birthday!

I was hoping to stay out on the patio more since booking the seaside room but the patio wasn’t cozy at all nor was it enjoyable outside. It was all cement and not decorated. I mainly stayed inside and watched through the sliding door. The room was not worth the price. I only stayed because they gave us a free upgrade given my circumstances.

Modern spacious room for 2 adults 2 teens. Lots of charging points. Top Floor with afternoon sun on the balcony overlooking the sea and pier, great. Just ate breakfast one day on ground level deck with fire. Pretty expensive for bagels and croissants. This could get busy with being open to the public but on the top floor there is a lovely deck with a fire, heaters, seating and loungers which is just for hotel guests. Parked on road as free, safe and always spaces. Great location right on beach and walkable to everything.
