Coronado Inn

Excellent location. great staff, free bikes to use around town. Accessible parking lot if you have a car. Ground floor rooms if you have a pet with you, you can take them directly outside to potty, small pool if you have children with you. In room mini fridge and microwave.

Rooms are very small, and bed is mediocre. Because the rooms are so small the AC is really close to you while your sleeping, which some people may like but I found it hard to be comfortable sleeping. There is only a small cabinet/closet to hang a few clothing items in but there are also drawers you could use. Poor reception to TV but, that not what you're in Coranado to do. Bathroom is tiny. But you get what you pay for, and it was affordable for Coronado, allows pets and location is excellent to get around the island and to go into the city.

I like that we had our room in front of the pool., we had a great location from room to our parking. everything was great close to walk to the beach and walking distance to everything. yes i would stay there again and tell my family and friends. love love love

Location of Inn was great. Room was spacious and clean. Ceiling fan was nice to have.

The mattress was not comfortable, the pillows had hardly any stuffing and were flat. The bedding was terrible. The sheet were not soft and cozy. The only blanket was a bed spread, not a quilted comforter. I never use the bed spreads to sleep with so we only had the rough sheet.

Staff were flexible and accommodating for my situation. Diligent in fixing problems (mostly key card troubles). The room was comfortable with working A/C and hot water with only momentary delay. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised with the service and condition of my room. I never once was worried for my health or safety, and that ultimately mattered the most. The bed was comfortable and clean, towels stocked along with plenty of lotions, shampoo, conditioner, as well as bars of body and face soap. Location is only blocks away from the Ferry Landing, as well as all the eateries a traveler could ask for. Additionally, the location feels safe and homely nestled next to a well managed neighborhood. The grounds are well maintained and inviting with only minor inconvenience in accessing certain locations of the hotel, which is to be expected considering it is located nearly at the heart of a small, suburban community on a man-made island.

The age of the premises definitely shows in the room. Continuously wiping off feet, worn look to A/C unit and bathroom, but functional and comfortable with only minor (and quite frankly inconsequential) complaints. TV logs out of accounts each time it is turned off, which is mildly annoying but not a deal-breaker, especially considering the quality of the TV, and the size of the TV for the room size was impressive. From a personal privacy standpoint, this could even be considered a positive due to being more conservative with user data by not staying logged in when not in use.

the kitchenette was a surprise - the room information when we booked didn’t state there was a kitchenette but it was very welcome. the room was comfortable with plenty of storage, good cooling and clean. the pool was clean also. it was really close to the free shuttle bus that goes up and down the main street to all the main attractions. it was only a 3 minute walk to a small market that had fresh foods, a liquor store and some restaurants. easy to get to by road and for only $10 per day we had onsite parking.

we could hear people walking around upstairs and unfortunately they were very early risers!

We love Coronado…we visit 3-4 times per year. We love the proximity of this hotel in relation to the things there are to do in Coronado.

The room we stayed in seemed like a renovated garage…which we don’t really care…but there were very few areas to place our stuff. Hooks in the bathroom and the bedroom area are a must. The shower is tiny. There is no place to set toiletries and it is almost impossible to bend over and pick them up from the floor without making a wet mess. A small table near the shower could help.

Great room with comfortable bed. The location is good, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in the ferry landing area. The hotel has cruiser bikes available for guest use, which was great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We didn't have any hot water the last morning of our stay, but the problem did get rectified. The TV had very few working channels. Staff were very helpful in replacing the TV with a newer one, so we could get more channels, but still a bit limited (CBS and Fox, but no ABC or NBC. Also no CNN). I don't watch a lot of TV while on vacation, but I do like to see the news.

Great value for the money. Loved that the place is single story,.. and there was no one above us We stayed 2 nights. The room was located on the street,... and there was some road noise,... but it wasn't overpowering. The a/c worked well and the king bed was comfortable.

Dimmers on the light switch. The lights were great. It looked like they had recently changed all the interior lights and installed LED CAN lights. I think there were 6 in the main room,... and 3 in the bathroom. While the lights were great in the day and cast a lot of light,... in the evening they were overpowering and were too bright. A couple of dimmer switches would have made them perfect.

Everyone on staff were wonderful and helpful -this place felt homey and relaxing. The kitchen was awesome and had everything needed to cook and snack throughout the week. Very old island feel. Furniture could use a little upgrade but really overall it was comfortable and great location to walk to beach and restaurants. We had a great week and we will be back!!

Nothing negative to say really, a bit overpriced for the quality of the furnishings ($305 nt) and could probably add some upgrade to kitchens like a toaster and daily housekeeping to match the price but I didnt mind changing out the towels and linen myself.

The little cottages are cute , check in and out were painless. The location was perfect for walking biking or just finding lunch. The bed and towels were comfortable.

I like a really dark quiet room. The room could not be made dark enough for me to get a deep sleep. The side we were on abutted 3rd start and the motorcycles and traffic were louder than expected. The other drivers/patrons were also quiet within the courtyard.
