Spacious, contemporary, lots of drawers/storage, the kitchenette with real dishes & mini dishwasher and the helpful-friendly staff. Also the little touches like the alcohol wipes, Starbucks coffee single cup trays, complementary packs of eye masks with earplugs & daily water bottles.

Bed was too firm. If you have issues with heights, be advised.

The location of the Pulse is close to the trolley and the bus lines and the Gaslamp District. We walked and used public transportation (to the zoo, Balboa Park, Old Town, taking a ferry to Coronado Landing), so no rental car was needed or having to pay for parking. Our breakfast was delicious—scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, sourdough toast and Starbucks coffee. We enjoyed a Happy Hour and had wine and a tasty meat eaters flatbread. Our king suite was very spacious, big bathroom, clean, lovely, comfortable, and complete with dishes, silverware, microwave, and fridge and freezer, dishwasher. Plenty of dresser drawers for our stuff. We loved it and plan to return next year!

We wish the restaurant on-site, Shake Bar and Lounge, would have been less expensive.

the location. there was nothing close by. we needed to walk 15 minutes to find restaurants or stores. also parking was expensive.

The hotel staff was great. Whatever we needed they were very prompt in getting it to us. Omg the bed was so comfortable. The room was nice. Our room was on the same floor as everything absolutely love that! I like the decor, just a shower in it! How it has a door that separates the bedroom from the living room. It’s 2 ways to get in the bathroom. The room was Beautiful

I didn’t like that the comforter or the pillow cases were clean. So look closely before laying in the bed. Once we told them they did correct it! I still recommend this hotel.

The room Was a king suite with city view. Great room size! Has a separate living room with a hideabed couch. HUGE bath room with an awesome walk in shower. The mattress was FANTASTIC! It was like sleeping on a cloud. The room also had a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, bar sink, and dishes that could be used. This room made a spectacular vacation even better.

Parking was expensive $50 for vallet ot $39 self park per day! Tipping the vallet and bell hope was expensive because they expect $10to $20 every time. No housekeeping and had to clean ourselves.

Good staff service and fast check in and check out. Big bathrooms and shower. My suite had a sofa bed which made it more comfortable to watch TV but it was not as soft for sleeping.

Many homeless people living around the block. Pool within the hotel was very small and is not big enough for 1 person to do laps. Valet parking is not recommended as staff just parks your car in outdoor parking lots that are plentiful and you can find yourself.

The room was great with the city view. It was quiet at night. Everything was clean. The staff was extremely polite and professional. Loved the heated pool as well.

I hated the parking garage. The lanes were so narrow, I was scared I was going to hit another vehicle or the curb or a wall at the turns.

The rooms are huge and comfortable for a longer stay, gym and pool a welcome addition, and staff are lovely

The bar/restaurant has too much of a lobby feel, although staff is great. Location is in a not so pleasant area downtown

Great location, fantastic space for families, very clean, mini kitchen that was more what you expect!

Noise from outside!!!! Hotel did provide ear plugs- which should’ve been a clue. Weekend nights are particularly loud with city noise- police sirens, speeding cars, dog’s barking. Impossible to sleep and we stayed on 17th floor!

The room was beautiful,we stayed at 1412 room,I enjoyed the view and the shower was nice .The bartender on Monday night was cool,he made a very good spicy margarita for me.I also liked that they used Aveda products like shower gel and lotion .

I didn’t like the lady who I checked out with this morning. I believe that people who work with customers that are experiencing poor customer service skills should take that day off.She never asked me how my staying was,it felt like she rushed me (I was the only one,it isn’t like there was a line and she had to take care of next customer)
