The amenities and staff were great.

Location is not good. Unfortunately there is a lot of homelessness around the location. It's fine during the day but as a woman traveling solo, I didn't feel safe at night. Make sure to use Uber /Lyft to get back at night. Do not walk or use public transport.

The process for checking in and handling anything administratively went quite well. Most hotels have a spot for pulling up to the property and unloading. I found this to be lacking or, at least, not well communicated. The room was clean, well maintained, and fully functional.

I am used to a property that allows me to have an actual chair for each guest and an actual horizontal surface (like a desk or table) to work or eat. I found neither at Yotel. I realize that this is available in the community space, however. Most likely due to my age, I did not appreciate all the tech gadgetry involved in staying in the room, although I found it very clever. Stayed at a Citizen M property in the Netherlands and preferred it to Yotel. Sorry!

The location is terrible. There are so many homeless and drugs on the street that is not safe. Rooms are tiny and there is no closet to hang close and the toilet has no door. I like the place but could be better.

Closets or at least hangers in the bedroom. Also, a toilet door would really help so that one spouse doesn`t need to leave the room when the other is using the toilet.

Yotel has excellent facilities Staff are very professional and do their best to make you smile There is onsite 24/7 Security which helps given the outside circumstances

The area was right near the Civic Centre which is full of homeless people, Dirty area Way too many homeless people

Room had everything you need. Great shampoo and body lotion. Building is very cool. Very central.

Location is very very bad. Would not go outside as soon as it is dark outside.

Location was convenient for Moscone Centre and to get to/from airport. 90% of staff were lovely, amazing facilities including a gym and kitchen area with tea/coffee etc. Allowed me to use working facilities even after I had checked out. My room was clean and had everything I needed. I was really pleased and impressed with the hotel.

Although the location was convenient, it is also in an area full of homelessness and drug addicts. At times I felt a bit unsafe but as soon as I was in the hotel lobby, I was absolutely fine. I am a female travelling alone. Most of the drug addicts seem harmless but if you're not used to the sight it can be a little shocking but you soon get used to it. One staff member wasn't particularly friendly which wasn't great, but that might have only been in comparison to the two others who had been incredibly helpful and friendly.

The staff was superb! From the front desk to security to housekeeping - they all were friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient and the beds were so comfy. It was clean and had a lot of great common spaces, and places to take private calls.

It isn’t in the best area, but I never felt unsafe. At night there is a lot of activity, but just ask the staff where to go and they’ll help direct you around areas that may not be ideal to be in. The breakfast and coffee wasn’t very robust. It was grab and go snacks, with a coffee machine that made one cup at a time. Just keep this in mind if you need protein in the morning or drink a lot of coffee! The room was great - but I definitely wouldn’t share it with someone I wasn’t very close with because the bathrooms aren’t very private. The toilet and shower are enclosed in frosted glass, and the rest of the bathroom area can be sectioned off by a curtain that is definitely see through. Not a big deal for me and my friend, but can see how this might be unexpected for others.

The staff helps you on whatever you want.

The location is perfect but the only thing that scare me was the amount of homeless people outside of the hotel cause right now that I leave the hotel on 09/05/2023 there’s a trend that more than 100 homeless stayed just across the street of the hotel which is a bit scary since the second night we my fiancé and I went to leave out car in the parking lot so we were just about to get to the door of the lobby and all of sudden we saw a bottle of water who knows what was inside of that bottle and they threw it in the door of the hotel. That the only situation about that I will suggest the hotel that they need to make a report with the city to move all those people to a shelter or whatever cause it is really concerning to be around people like that.

I loved the modern feel of this property, the fact you can check yourself in, recycle bins in the bathroom, smart tv so we could stream anything we wanted from our own equipment, very clean and our room was spacious. Close to Westfield shopping mall and lots of other shopping, great location really. Will definitely stay at a Yotel property again.

This is not the properties fault but the area is super dodgy, so many homeless people all around, the smell of pee you on the streets around and didn’t feel super safe walking around in the evening to go to the store if we needed anything. Other than this I cannot complain as the hotel itself was great.

The staff here is always super awesome, available and attentive. I like how clean the hotel is, and the modern vibe. I preferred the loft room better (stayed here twice), but the other room was good as well. We loved how close it was to the San Fran (market street) Caltrain stop. It's also close to shopping and Nob Hill bars and such. Really convenient.

WHY ARE THE PILLOWS SO HIGH. We're both small people and the pillows are so high and stiff we rolled up towels to sleep. I do wish there was more of a door to the bathroom as glass isn't sometimes always the best privacy/sound barrier. Since the last time I was here the surrounding area has gotten even worse. There is a larger population of unhoused individuals, and while most keep busy and stay out of the way there are some individuals who lack the services needed to be taken care of and it's reallllly apparent. The sound/smells aren't great and it's best to go in groups or by lyft at night.
