Embassy Suites San Luis Obispo

Masks were in fact optional even though stated otherwise in emails sent pre-arrival both from the booking entity & from the hotel itself and that was great news on arrival - the hotel is following California masking guidelines, which are optional. Check-out was easy; however, I have to wait 5 to 10 business days to receive my credit card refund of $150 for "incidentals." I charge nothing additional to any hotel room that we stay in nor use products for sale in a room as a matter of personal policy.

Need to get back to cleaning hotel rooms on a daily basis, providing coffee packs for the in-room coffee maker, toilet paper, and towels. Having to get such things daily at the hotel desk diminishes the value/high price paid for the hotel room.

As a family of 4 (kids ages 4 and 2), having a suite is key to getting any sleep on vacation. so having the true suite, mini kitchen and a bathroom with a tub was perfect. also the bed was exceptionally comfortable with great linens and pillows. we slept really well. and last but not least-the breakfast! generous, hot and made to order grill. can’t beat it. the kids had a great time

it’s showing it’s age a little bit but that didn’t take away from our comfort or fun.

the room was nice and I liked the Starbucks coffee in the rooms. the shower was great.

when we checked in, the guy did not tell us about the breakfast hours, the hours of the reception or if there was a reception, we asked for room either on first floor or closer to elevator and we got neither without any explanation. that if we needed anything to call housecleaning because they were not cleaning rooms. the guy next to him was telling the guest he was checking in all that information and then some.

We enjoyed our stay here. For the price we paid, the hotel had a lot more to offer. It’s beautiful inside, the room was very clean(which I’m truly thankful, as we travel with small children). We enjoyed the warm pool at night, and the breakfast was excellent! Staff was amazing. Overall, we will continue to stay here. Thank you.

Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Atrium is a wonderful place to eat, relax, just hang out during down time. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of room in the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and when we needed an engineer to replace the refrigerator in our room, he arrived promptly and fixed the problem.

The refrigerator in our room didn't work and had to be replaced. Everything else was fine.

The King Suite was spacious, the food was just fine, loved the omelet bar. Very comfortable, staff was helpful. Will stay here again.

The pool needs some scrubbing. Calcium build up around the walls. At breakfast the floor were dirty, explainable due to the amount of traffic in the breakfast area.

Very roomy suit. Comfortable bed, the room was clean and location was great. There was a free happy hour, which hit the spot with free drinks and snack. The free breakfast was great with everything you might want including made to order omelets.

Asked for room service (for towels) when we left around ten am. When we returned that evening around nine pm we noticed that no one had been there. We call the front desk and they immediately brought us clean towels.

The bedroom was extremely comfortable with a nice view. The bathroom was roomy and the water pressure was great. It was all around decently enjoyable and worth the price I paid for the overnight stay.

I didn't like that some outlets didn't work. I had to charge my phone farther away from me. It was awkward when the alarm went off for sure.

breakfast was excellent. Room was excellent. Bed was extremely comfortable. I enjoyed having the King suite. The extra room was fantastic. The hotel was very clean, and quiet. I enjoyed the rooms being wrapped around the atrium in the middle.

The only thing I could possibly say that could be improved would be the elevator speed! Everything else was wonderful.
