All the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially at the busy Lido Cafe. Food at the Lido was very good. (Try the warm olive appetizer, the fried chicken sandwich, and especially the delicious bread pudding.) I liked that our room was a block away from the main hotel - very quiet except for the occasional train whistle. Very much worth the discounted price for a 2 minute stroll to the pool. Gated parking (for an extra $19).

The hot tub was not working properly - lukewarm. This was disappointing since it was one of the main reasons I selected this hotel. It also meant that lots of children were using it as a kiddie pool. Maintenance was apparently working to fix it, but as we were only there one night, we didn’t get to enjoy it.

The location says it all. We booked palomaro but got upgraded to the main location that was waterfront. Service was great from all staff.

Both restaurant options on the property are over priced and lack exciting food. Cheese board for 20 bucks with some Costco grapes, a few tiny pieces of cheese and some frozen jam. Try some other amazing local spots!

Lovely spot and lovely location. Nice clean rooms.

Nothing really…couldn’t be helped but our room neighbour had a young child that woke at around 0530 and appears to be left to scream for nearly an hour but not a property issue, more of a booking issue and room allocation.

I was first upset the property is not connected to the amenities (pool spa exercise room bar/restaurant) but then we liked that it was less crowded then the main hotel and the location was perfect. Also Matt from the hotel front deals was super helpful and accommodating.

I do not think booking.com defined the property we reserved. It did not specify that all of the accommodations stated were actually located 2 blocks away. It was misinformation.

Before my trip I had an accident and requested an accesible room. Made a call to hotel and they were very accommodating, I did not stay at Palmoro, I stayed at Mar Monte next to the Elevator. I would definitely go back to Mar Monte, excellent and I loved they are pet friendly.

Location is good. It's peaceful and quiet.

We got lost finding the building. The staff was not clear with directions. We ended up in the wrong place and building (the residence area. quiet upsetting for us who were tired with the long drive and eager to rest). they should do a better job in giving directions.

We were given an upgrade and stayed at the sister property, the Mar Monte Hotel. We loved our stay there, the room was big, the pool heated. The service was excellent.

My credit card was swiped twice by mistake, but an application was made for a refund, along with apologies for the mix up.

The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are large, very clean, the bed is very comfortable, pillows and sheets are also high quality. The staff is friendly and helpful, very polite. The hotel has a good restaurant and also a Café, perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach is just cross the street. This hotel it's a wonderful place!

The restroom hasn't a vanity inside. The swimming pool has no rules, so if 10 people with few kids take over the chairs, they can stay and enjoy the pool all day long and all others are ignored, without any chance to have one hour in the pool. Not really fair...

I actually enjoyed being in a quiet corner away from the main resort, and being near the beach there were plenty of folks walking around in swimming gear so I felt fine walking to/from the pool. I really liked the pool, it was a hilarious combination of cannonballing kids and tipsy adults, but not a quiet or dignified affair by any means. I loved that after a few hours on the sand we could enter the pool area from the street. The bartender at the pool was super friendly. Parking was so easy, it was great not having to negotiate the valet every time I needed my car.

Our first day there was a man with a guitar playing 90's soft rock hits by the pool and it was pretty cringey, but we had some laughs about it. The elevator to my room got stuck while I was using it with my dog and my friend's 3-year-old, so I didn't use it again. I booked 3 rooms together, and I guess only mine got upgraded, so my friends felt like their rooms were tiny by comparison. This place was not cheap, and I felt like I wasn't getting all that much for the splurge. The public shuttle bus was out of service due to COVID-19, so the location felt remote. We drove over for an evening out on State Street but my friends never even made it to the Wharf!
