the location was easy to find and on two main streets. the parking garage is a nice positive. The whole building was freshly remodeled so everything was clean of course. Breakfast and espresso definitely added value to the trip.

some of the renovations weren’t touched up yet, lots of odds and ends that need to be addressed but nothing major. A map showing where the amenities are would be helpful, like ice, hot tub etc.

it was very well laid out, the hotel was very clean, breakfast was very good and the location was excellent.

parking was VERY tight and the bathtub wasn’t very clean, likely because it didn’t drain properly.

The room was super spacious and I was very surprised by the space. The bed was comfortable, with lots of pillows, and warm space. I checked out the breakfast, What a nice Spread! Gotta check it out!

The bathroom light is triggered by movement, so one has to close the bathroom door, to reduce the light. That's about it.

Sheets were not clean, stained. I took photos and mentioned to desk check out clerk. Also there is no menu for tv???? No Channel choices?? Maintenance didn't understand the issue.

I thought that this was a wonderful facility with great customer service. The family Suite had two bathrooms, a TV in the sitting area and both sleeping areas. A nice size refrigerator. Enormous closets. Great little kitchenette area with a sink and a microwave. The location was far enough from the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and Beach flat area to be safe. They had some good choices for breakfast in this post covid environment. There were plenty of restaurants nearby but since we didn't want to go anywhere after being out all day we were happy to have Habit Burgers delivered one night and Chinese the next. But if you do stay here, don't forget to go up the street to Marianne's. Best ice cream on the planet.

My room was clean but it wasn't spotless. There were just a couple of areas that could have been better.

the woman who checked us in , Leanne , was phenomenal. The first room did not have the facilities we had expected when booking, and she went above and beyond to get us into something really great! and her attitude about everything was so refreshing and "can do". we will stay there again. Because she was so wonderful, the things in the next section were really unimportant...and not her area anyway.

really i'm not complaining, but as someone who has been in the hospitatiity business, maintenance should be made aware that there are places in the room....particularly the bathroom doors, where the paint is mostly off or peeling in some areas, or areas were just missed. also the living room sofa is LONG overdue for cleaning (at least). That said, we were very happy there and with the facilities otherwise so that I almost feel bad mentioning anything...but maintenance cant come fix what they don't know about, right? so its in that spirit i mention it. Its been a year where things like that having delayed resolutions is totally understandable. We will be back!!

The cleaning as always was nice and the bathroom in our room was huge!

The parking lot is super small and pretty much the 75% of it is for compact cars. I was driving a Toyota Sienna 2018 and I though for a moment that the street will be my only option. So I believe I parked in a spot that wasn't a really parking spot but I hadn't another option.

Hotel is clean and well presented.
