The Aqua Pacific Hotel

The owner TJ is awesome! Our tv wasn’t working as there was some sort of update that occurred so he came up to our room and personally fixed it. He was very accommodating and the place was very chill and cute. It was very quiet, friendly staff, and a good location to downtown shops and food. I liked how it had a mini fridge but also a small microwave! Both were very helpful to have. I would definitely stay here again! I liked the parking lot as well.

The elevator stalled a bit as it’s most likely a hydraulic elevator. It made me a bit nervous as it’s only going from the first floor to the second floor. I ended up taking the stairs which again is not many, while my boyfriend would take the elevator. Often times I’d be waiting for him and then the elevator door would finally open. He didn’t seem to mind it but it made me a bit nervous. This didn’t distract from the overall experience at the hotel and I’d definitely stay here again! :)

The care & attention to detail the hotel owner has for the hotel oye self in regard to the attention to detail. The shampoos & soaps for example were not tested on animal. The immediate assistance to any inquiry, as well as the sincerness in every action that was taken by the owner. I will only book with this hotel in the future whenever I am in Santa Cruz. The ice & water from the machine is purified!

I seriously don’t have any complaints! I loved it. Even the wharf & boardwalk was only a brief 10 minute walk!

The staff was very friendly. TJ is amazing! The rooms are clean and nicely updated. The location was good just a few minutes from the beach. I will definitely stay there again. We were there on a girl's trip and felt very safe. Even coming in late. Also there was plenty of parking and it's free!

The hot tub wasn't available during my stay. However ever the pool was nice and heated. Also it is in a main street so depending on where you room is, you will hear street noise.

Good location, clean room and great customer service; they were kind and responsible ;for example we forgot to buy water and it was 2 am so the guy gave us water bottles. Most of hotels always say no we don’t have

bathroom was too small , it was hard to going inside and closing the door; TV didn’t work. It didn’t have telephone for talk with desk.

The night manager Ifty was incredibly accommodating and a real breath of fresh air. We booked last minute and it interrupted what would have been a quiet night for him but his enthusiasm and kindness never wavered.

It was little cold, which is to be expected in a summer hotel during the winter. A good blast of the heater warmed the room in no time.

Host TJ was great, super friendly and helpful. Hotel location was good, an easy walk from both the boardwalk and pier and downtown area. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Santa Cruz is a cool town and made a perfect stop off on our California road trip!

The room was recently renovated, brand new everything. The beds, pillows and comforters were 5 starts quality. Everyone was very nice and very accommodating. The young couple who owns it very lovely.

The location is excellent. the rooms are new and clean. The staff/owners were very attentive and concerned about our comfort. The value is excellent. Off street parking lot is safe and convenient.

Very friendly staff. Lovely room with great shower. TV with all the streaming channels available. Pool, although we didn't use it. 15 mins to beach and amusements. A wonderful Mexican food truck 5 minutes from hotel.
