Bottom line, the quality of a residence is always going to be service! The staff of the Best Western Plus "Big America" were excellent. The included breakfast was more than adequate and was mad better by the attentive staff who made sure all the items were well stocked. The TV and WiFi worked fine, and the bed was comfy.

I wish that hotels would stop the use of "soft water" The salts used only make the water fell slippery and don't do anything else. The water controls in the tub/shower were stuck, which meant that when you turned the water on it would hit you in the face. (This is not a big problem, it is only a maintenance problem not systemic to the facility)

The breakfast was delicious and not the usual continental. You had eggs, omlettes, sausage, breakfast potatoes and everything else imaginable. Also the staff was excellent. The lady working the breakfast area was showing me the offerings and made suggestions for breakfast sandwiches and other combinations. She was also great with other customers as she made her way through the dining room and was checking on tables and making sure they were happy. Also, she cleaned tables in a timely manner and kept the floors clean. Saturday was extremely busy and she never missed a beat. I also must mention the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We asked for extra regular coffee pods for our room and the young lady was really eager to accommodate our request. She was also very polite and greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile every morning. We were in town for 3 nights visiting family and every time she saw us she made me feel like she remembered me with her sincere personality. Also the room attendant staff is excellent. The room was cleaned extremely well and all the ladies were happy and friendly. You have a great staff at this location and we will continue to visit this location in the future. The only negative thing I can say is the location is close to some undesirable properties. What I mean is the shopping center next to you has so much graffiti on the building that is visible when entering the property from the south side. Perhaps you could call the city and ask them to be more proactive at painting over it. I know you don’t really have any control over the location but the things that you do have control over are excellent. Painting over the graffiti on the buildings in the shopping center on south side of your property. I know you don’t have control over this but if I were working there I would make a call to the city and let them know it could have a negative effect on your business and ask if they could be a little more aggressive with painting over graffiti.

The suite is well designed a small home bedroom, living room, bathroom and they are divided. It was very clean. I really appreciate the breakfast options that Best Western offers too. It's not just coffee and a pastry. They have lots of good choices. I checked in late at nigh and there was some one at the desk to receive us, that is also great! The location is at walking distance from several restaurants both Mexican and American. Plus, it was only 5 minutes from my workplace in downtown..

The room, and this is true of most hotel rooms, smelled like a hotel room. I'm not sure what it is, I'm going to guess it's the carpet. Maybe some day hotels can figure out how to resolve that little nuance.

The room is good size with fridge and microwave. And I like the housekeeper honesty, I forgot my purse and we got a call to let us know within 15 minutes

For me, the pillows are too hard. Extra sheets and blankets needed for the sofa bed. The room looks clean but you need to wash the carpet and the sofa, there's a nasty smell. Breakfast was included but but there are only two people working in the kitchen, they need more help.

we stayed here one night on our way from Los Angeles to San Francisco, nice area, great staff, good breakfast (eggs and sausages in addition to traditional waffle based American breakfast), clean rooms, equipped with every essential needs. comfortable mattresses and pillows. free parking onsite. there is also heated outside pool and jacuzzi but we didn’t try as it was rather cold

the fridge was not working in our room, otherwise everything was perfect

When I called that day that I was suppose to arrive, I'm not sure if her name was Allisa or Mellisa but I enjoyed the fact she honor the request that asked for was to have one of the "STATE" rooms ( these are the rooms that has a State on the door). When I got there not only did I get the room, but it was nice and clean and comfortable. Plus the male desk clerk had told me that the breakfast was back ( the potatoes, eggs, sausage, bacon, etc,). This Best Western is the best because it gives you your money worth. So thank you staff, desk clerk, management/ supervisor,house keeping, cook, gardeners for great job.

I really dont have nothing that I didn't like about this Best Western Plus Hotel, maybe just add more lighting in the area's were there corner rooms are located. During the night it tends to be too dark in those areas. But over all nothing,

Room was ready and clean on arrival. We booked 2 rooms and they were happily next door to each other. Pillows were great, shower was hot and water was plentiful. Nice amenities in bathroom and coffee station. Quiet and close to shops and restaurants. The concierge that checked us in was so sweet and welcoming. We enjoyed our overnight stay and would stay there next time if we visit Santa Maria again. Breakfast included! Thank you!

Most everything. The staff are great.

Thee are alsways alot of trucks parked near the rooms Some are quite big and make alot of noise, especially in the morning when they are leaving. Some drivers are very in considerate and leave their loud trucks "warming" up for a long time waking guests who are sleeping and I assume have paid for their rooms too.

Very friendly staff. Easy parking on the hotel's own parking area. Comfortable rooms, beds, bathroom and a separate toilet.

This is a bigger hotel-motel with no special appeal but it does the job for a night's stay over. The breakfast area turned out too small for the number of guests and so was crowded (and not very special).

Breakfast was much better than expected. This was especially true when we were told at check-in that Breakfast was a Continental Breakfast served in the lobby. The following morning we were very pleasantly surprised that Breakfast was indeed as advertised on the internet, a full choice of foods including Breakfast Burritos from the adjoining restaurant. Not only were these burritos tasty, they were HUGE and completely satisfying. We will return to the Best Western Plus Big America.
