The property itself is gorgeous. Such a gorgeous place to relax in the sun and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of the Santa Barbara wine country. The rooms are beautifully curated and homely, and the breakfast was good.

The staff left a lot to be desired. They all looked completely miserable, don’t think we got a single smile or attempt at any engagement. The guy who checked us in told us not to buy anything from the gift shop because it’s a rip-off (referring to some cushions my friend wanted) it felt a bit like faulty towers on the staffing front. Despite my booking confirmation saying that check out was between 11am and 1pm, I was rudely kicked out of the room by a staff member at 11.30 - saying she would charge another $100 US per hour to the booking if we didn’t leave. I explained that my booking confirmation said between 11 and 1 for checkout, and she said it only if you pay more that you can have later than 11. This should be much much clearer on your booking confirmations.

Location is super convenient to several local towns - the property itself incredibly charming and beautifully designed; super comfy beds. The gardens are tranquil and thoughtfully laid out so you can have several groups each with private areas. Really nice aesthetic - and LOVE the hammocks!!

The staff on arrival (6:30 p.m. PT) was less than welcoming, but the staff at check out was perfection; not a great first impression but was salvaged by the check out team. The bulbs used in the "dimmable" bedside lamps were not dimmable, so the lighting was a significant challenge - LEDs flicker when installed in dimmable fixtures - ugh.

The bed is insanely comfortable! The property is beautiful; torches, fire pits, and all of the white lights are a lovely touch! The bar, retro fridge, and fireplace are fantastic, and we loved our little sitting area.

The breakfast wasn't great, the bathroom floor appeared dirty, and, at $500/night, you could certainly provide higher quality toilet paper . I was sad our white lights didn't work but the good far outweighed the bad!

The grounds were stunning! Several hang out spots, tables and a couple of fire pits that staff lite in the evening. The pool is great with comfy lounges with towels and pillow. I was allowed to take my dogs poolside! How sweet! The room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. Large bathroom and separate closet area with coffee maker etc. Loved it. A great place to really unwind. There's also a little store in the lobby area with treats for you and your pups if you bring them along.

The staff was A++++ . It has been a long time since I have stayed anywhere with such genuinely friendly and helpful staff. It makes all the difference. And i loved the book in the room!!

Like all hospitality and hotels these days, prices were elevated for a place off the highway.

Breakfast , hotel and room was great at this location! Loved that it wasn’t far from town or wineries, central to everything. Staff was great and the whole place was an aesthetic!

You can hear all the cars pass on the main highway. Beds were a little rough.

beautiful and comfortable. staff is very friendly. complimentary breakfast was nice. kitchenette was a plus! Nespresso machines are wonderful. full bar available in room and snacks. hot toddy was available each night in the lobby(in the winter months at least).

heater in bathroom didn’t work. only give you one bath towel and one hand towel. floors weren’t very clean.

The breakfast was good - fresh baked pastry’s and nice selection of cereal etc. the firepits, comfortable furniture outside, dog friendly, amazing restaurants nearby, bikes and bike trail!

The pool is really small.

Breakfast was great with quiche, yogurt with granola and lots of fruit to choose from. Coffee was so-so but they had Nespresso in the room so we went back and made more in our room to have with breakfast. Which we ate by the fire pit since it was a little chilly. The staff was nice, especially the grounds keeper who gave us some good tips for our drive home. He was really friendly where other staff was cordial. More of him please! Bocce Ball court was really beautiful and so much fun under the trees. The room was so beautiful and it seemed like every detail was of the best quality. The bedding was incredible, light but warm and very comfortable. Pillows were so plush that it took some getting used to--which probably means we need new pillows at home... The bathroom amenities were impressive and smelled amazing. Mini Bar was incredibly tempting and perfectly appointed. And such a cool fridge. I enjoyed the fireplace more than I thought I would. If you're wondering, is it worth the price? Oh yes. Worth every penny.

SO minor, but the clock wasn't set right and I tried but it was impossible for me to correct it. Bathroom could use a magnifying mirror. Also, I'd hoped to get the room with a hot tub, but apparently that's not an available option on Booking.com. So you may need to follow up your reservation with a phone call to the property if that's what you want. Now we know for next time. And there will be a next time =)

The grounds are glorious.... giant trees, great lounge furniture, lovely pool area, and rolling hills to look at! My room was comfy and very cute.

Would be nice to have a crosswalk over to the bike path since traffic on the street is steady and pretty fast.
