The owner Keith had the best hospitality and was on top of us having clean towels. The vibes there were safe and welcoming, and super friendly completely worth staying in the hospitality at the Sonora inn where I was originally supposed to stay, was crap and very unwelcoming and very rude. They made me feel very welcome there and any time I’m in the area that is definitely where I will go in. They have coffee and hot chocolate and tea, cereal, bagels, and English muffins and really good danishes for breakfast. You can get milk or juice, nice vibes and welcoming people. It was totally worth it. . The bed was really comfortable and clean and the pillows were super comfortable. I slept like a baby knowing me and my kids had somewhere we felt safe. During our stay, lightning, hit a transformer and blew the power for the whole county. Even in complete darkness,I felt more safe there than I did anywhere else.

 Housekeeping could do better at cleaning the bathroom and stains on the walls but overall the room was pretty clean and we had access to cable

The service was excellent. It's a very old place, but it had a homey vibe. They areslowly doing remodeling so it will get there. There is a pool and a small breakfast. It takes time and money, and without customers, they can't do that. I would definitely stay again.

Nothing I didn't like. Like I said it's probably built back in the 30's so it's no fancy motel but it was a nice place to sleep. And with great customer service that's the best service you can ask for.

Location was great, only about 10 minutes from Columbia State Park. Room has been updated painted & remodeled. Very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was very complete and very tasty. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

The room had been remodeled recently, I know because I had to tighten the toilet set down. The shower faucet was new because it was hard to pull. Small inconveince overlooked by the good.

Breakfast was okay had quite a few things to choose from cuz I had to rush out and I just grab some plums were amazing I couldn't figure out the TV No garbage can in the room it's the only thing that I could see that could be changed Owners were very nice I felt safe The pool was clean and refreshing

The door seemed a little finicky but thats about it. Everything else was good. It's a 100$ motel there's not much to complain about Why look for something that has a good deal then complain. Everything was fine.

My Husband and I wanted to take the Family on a Mini Vaycay to start the Kiddos Spring Break. This was a nice little Lodge we stayed at. The employees were welcoming, kind and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay, my kids to my parents enjoyed their stay. My parents liked the breakfast because they got to meet new people and they enjoyed their conversations they had.

There are permanent residents living there very friendly. And it sorta has an " home " like feel to it DO not let its appearance deter you from staying. You will regret missing out of the friendly, help reps and residents.

It is great to be able to park so close to the room. This place is a classic tourist motor lodge. I love that they have tons of TV channels. I love the long line of giant trees that go across the parking lot. Personally, I really like that this place is in a time warp from the 70's. If you are picky and want everything to be new and shiny then forget this place. It is a very awesome old school, friendly, easy access motor lodge experience. I used this room as my base to go to Black Oak Casino and gamble my living brains out. I got re-dealt 4 deuces with and ace kicker. Re dealt it. Look up the odds of that happening. It is insane. Gold Lodge Rules!

Love this place! It was better than I expected it to be! We will definitely be coming back with our dog again!

My only complaint is we ran out of tp the very next day. There wasn't a spare roll left in a room that sleeps 6. Not a huge deal since we went to get coffee and breakfast in the lobby, so we grabbed a roll at the same time.

The place was AMAZING! It had its own little front entrance for each room and the staff was incredibly friendly.
