The location was wonderful and so central. The reception staff were lovely and so helpful and attentive. Even while getting into the pool was a challenge, one of the staff walked us all the way up to ensure we were able to get in and enjoy the pool before the sun went down.

The issue with the keys getting into the pool was a bit frustrating but the staff made it into an easy fix. It would have been lovely to have a bit more space in the breakfast area - many families were just sitting in there after they had finished and it made it difficult to find a place to eat.

Denise or her name was Debbie I can't remember but she was super great. She offered her own phone charger when we asked if the desk had a charger for room. Friendly and helpful. I'll be coming back just because of her great service.

One lady at the desk in the morning said my rate was too low when I wanted to extend my stay 1 more night at the same rate I had the first night. I said do I have to go to another hotel. She did nothing to accommodate me. I used the same website to get even a better rate for the next day. She's bad for business.

The place is great. Upgrades where you want them but still has old world charm. Very comfortable room and furnishings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great for exploring the town and finding good food right across the street

A little noise during the night from the main street outside but we expected that being right on Main.

Fantastic staff and great breakfast. WiFi is decent and a great location. I will only stay here when I come into town. Located downtown and near shopping and food.

The shower spouts are extremely low. If you're over 5 foot 5 inches, you're going to have to bend over to get your head wet. That would honestly be my only complaint.

Some attempts to be vintage but with updated technology, (USB ports, plugs, wi-fi, etc.) cozy room, great comfortable bed!! Very friendly, caring staff, including housekeeping, desk and food service.

Decor upgrades and that sort of thing need to be completed or done in a more professional manner to maintain the “Historical” name and nature of the property.

Everything was as I remembered. Very friendly and helpful staff. my grandsons enjoyed the pool. They also enjoyed meeting up with me one morning for waffles.

It would have been nice if someone had informed me ahead of time that there was no working telephone in the room. I would have liked a luggage stand so I didn’t have to keep my suitcase on the other bed. My key demagnetized for different times, causing me to have to run down to the front desk when I was in a rush already. And I did not keep it near my cell phone. Not sure why this happens and it did cause a bit of a hassle. But overall I enjoyed my stay.

I love the historic feel to this place. Walking down the streets of Sonora, love the little shops at least the ones that are open. I hope covid doesn't take too much of a toll on this great little town

The bed was hard as a brick, lol! The bathroom sink obviously dated. 1950 but it worked.

The central location in proximity to the downtown restaurants, night clubs and shopping

The complementary breakfast in the morning could be improved to be on par with the level of the Hotel. It was good but it was the level that would be expected of a Motel Six or Super 8

Will have the breakfast today. Beautiful and Quaint historic hotel conveniently located in the middle of Sonora. Everything is in walking distance, and there is an up stairs pool to combat this summer California heat. Great value and great stay! Thank You Sonora Inn!!

It is a victorian era building so floors do creak and things are just a little more Audible than usual, but it adds to it's historic charm.
