Location is great. within walking distance of many things. Safeway is across the street. Loved that it was right on the lake with its own beach. Room was very quiet and clean. We were on the 3rd floor with a partial view of the lake.

Elevator was small and made weird noises. No microwave in the room: There is one in the lobby so it worked out ok. Closet is small with only 6-8 hangers, only drawers in the room were in the night stands.

It’s close to the beach, I was clean, not too loud. It was very family friendly

I wish every room could have a parking assigned it was hard for us to find a parking. Also it mentioned that their is wifi throughout the property but we were only given our keys when we checked-in and no instructions on how to get on the wifi. I tried to join a couple of times but had no idea what the password was.It wasn’t that big of a deal except my phone had terrible reception in our room so having wifi would have been nice.

The location of the property was perfect. There is shops/restaurants all around within walking distance. We had a nice view and easy access to the private beach from our sliding door in our room. The beach area had a perfect view of the lake and mountains. We loved that we didn’t have to leave the property at all, there is a sports pub in the lobby and a seafood restaurant on the pier. The tiki bar on the beach was perfect and not to mention the firepit area around the pool with complimentary smores kits. They also have a picnic area close to the beach that we definitely took advantage of to eat our breakfast with a nice view. We will definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent location for direct access to Lake Tahoe beach area. Plenty of stores and restaurants are within walking distance as well. The property is large and the pool and fire pits are centrally located. The elevators and stairwells are small but doable. The room was large and had plenty of storage.

The bathroom smelled a little but didn't have an exhaust fan. However, you could open the window of the bathroom. When renovations are due, I'd recommend exhaust fans in the bathrooms for sure. We loved the free smore kits at night.

It was cold when delivered to table. Location was excellent.

Mother’s Day and only one person waitress working and one cook. Both were overwhelmed. Waitress could use polite responses training. If a customer says thank you then the correct response is “Your welcome” never happened, not once. Cook could not get orders correct. Then the waitress wanted to argue that someone in our group ordered the plate. Not only was food delivered incorrectly but was also cold. Breakfast and not one person in our group was ever ask if the wanted a refill of coffee. Waitress was lucky that tip was included in the bill, because she probably would have got little to nothing in a tip. Our bill came to $367.00.

Everything the Retreat and Lodge had to offer. The Pool, S'mores in the evening, Beach access, Bar on site, Restaurants, and Grocery store. All within walking distance. Peace and Quietness from all the hustle and bustle, couldn't even hear street noises. 2 mile walk to Casinos or you could rent/ride scooters.

Parking..... Was a freaking mess. Since the beach is a public beach, "local" beach goers park in paying customers spaces. The shower..... Water pressure and temperature changes Hot to Cold to Scalding Hot, when someone else is within building.

The property is in a good location. Facility was kept up & clean.

All the staff we crossed, didn’t appear  enthusiastic , nor seem to care to go the extra mile for there customers. There Sports pub sidelines , food was very poorly prepared & low quality. This is the second time we stayed and they had a wedding ceremony there both times & the photographer asked if we would leave the beach as the wedding started, the room was over priced for a 200 sq ft room with two beds, no microwave or table in the room.

Great access to the beach! The staff was all very friendly & helpful. The room we got was the perfect location & I hope to get that same room the next time we come! Thank you to everyone for making our time a good one

The property itself is a bit run down. Perhaps some exterior work could be done to help improve the look and feel of the place. At one point we went into the bar / restaurant, the lights were on & the music was playing but after waiting for over 5 mins, no one came to serve us, so we left.

Great location as the wedding we came for was onsite, reception staff were friendly and efficient. Bed was very comfortable, room was very easy to get to and parking wasn’t difficult at all.

I was surprised there was not a microwave in the room, we had bought some microwave dinners to have during our stay but couldn’t eat them. There was no “hotel/town info book” as most hotels have that have information about the town and nearby facilities. The 3rd and last day we were there, I woke up to a swarm of ants in the bathroom leading to our trash can.

PERFECT LOCATION in South Shore Lake Tahoe. awesome property ON THE BEACH! room was decent size. and we had adjoining rooms, it was PERFECT!!! and 2 restaurants on property! and a beach tiki bar. everything you could want and nightly smores!

it was sort of expensive for after 4th of July, but if we went another time, not around the holiday, then the price seems fair for such a great location. great family hotel. we will definitely go back !
