My mom and I recently had an emergency situation come up. And we found this motel near Stateline. When we got here we were emotional and exhausted and we literally collapsed for a few days. The staff here is incredible! They’re kind and accommodating and the couple that run the motel are gracious and caring and very good at their job. We’ve actually become friends. If anyone I know wants to come to Tahoe I will send them here. The beds are comfortable and I live with chronic pain. The rooms are big and clean. There are little fridges and microwaves so you can keep your food or leftovers fresh and they have nice televisions if those things are important to you. If you’re used to staying at a hotel or a luxury accommodation, this may not be the place for you. However, if you want a clean, comfortable and safe place to be. This is it!!! We actually stayed one night in another motel and we came back because we felt safe here. I just love the staff, as I stated and would not stay in another motel. There’s a pool and it’s family and pet friendly. Stay here… stay here! You’ll be happy you did

To whom it concerns: we came to the Big Pines late at night tired and travel worn from a long day.. We were greeted by Iftee and his wife. Can't say enough about how professional both he and his wife were and how quickly we were accommodated to our room! Our stay at your motel was very pleasant and we can't say enough for Iftee and his wife who were kind enough to bring extra towels, and answer all are questions. Thank you, we will be back. Ana was delightful. Easy check in. Family paid for our stay but was not with us. We did not have to show a credit card and we're thankful. The card holder was not with us and does not travel due to age. So that was helpful for our family.

The bathroom was way to small. In the 45+ years I have gone to Tahoe we never paid for beach passes. This year we got to the beach and they told us quote un quote " we offer either vouchers or passes... The big Pines chose the vouchers over the passes. So it costs to enjoy something that is free.. I am native and that is insane to charge for mother nature. To enjoy what God put here. No they don't watch the beach better there. People feed the birds it's isad because they people at that beach are usually drunk and act awful because they think they have more money.

it was good it’s close to everything, the kids love the place and it’s good that they have pots to cook .

we did stay 3nights but they didn’t allow housekeeper while you check in which is we us for cleaning our room .it’s 4 burner but it’s just 2 are working so my husband had to fix it to work the 4 burner .

It was within easy walking distance of all the restaurants, coffee/taphouses and other South Lake fun. The beds were super comfortable to sleep in.

The fridge door didn’t close well. A bigger coffee maker would have been better. No noise control after 10pm.

This is a great location, easy walking distance to the lake and casinos. The lobby is very nicely done, with plenty of wood accents to make it feel like Tahoe. Nash is very friendly and helpful. His hospitality is great. Nice and quiet location.

Very good and nice Room, clean and very comfortable, affordable price.

All parking spaces should be assigned according to your Room# Also I did informed TV not working, nobody came to fixed it, I had waited from 70/30/2023 6PM until Next Morning, We didn't watched TV.

property is very close to Stateline so close for walking to casinos and shops.

the room needed a bit of upkeep. the wood was peeling off bathroom door, the microwave door was clearly broken just looking at it and the blinds didn’t lower properly.

remodeled rooms pergo floors upgrades matrasses modern paint color scheme ect etc and you can angrily walk back from the clubs EMPTY HANDED or drunkingly happy and with any luck you walked with THIER MONEY merry Christmas everyone and don’t forget the casinos were not built nor routinely remodeled on WINNERS Xx/oo

We didn't have high expectations as we knew it is not a luxury place. It turned out to be very nice and exceeded our expectations. We had issue with TV remote not changing channels. We asked front desk and they helped program the remote. Outside of that, It was a pleasant stay.
