Property was clean and easy access to the beach and restaurants. Room was very clean and comfy. Staff are listener and provide what you need or ask. When you email them they respond so fast and they make sure you have every thing you need. There are ice machines and laundry are available which is amazing during Summer time. There are also some frames that are really inspiring and makes you excited for your adventure in Tahoe. Love that idea.

Maybe a few tips can make it super duper excellent like Wi-Fi isn’t super fast, and there wasn’t any toothbrush (but there are tons of soaps, body wash, shampoo and etc.) AC is a bit noisy but we had it on 24/7 and worked perfectly.

Blue Jay Lodge was a very quiet and cozy hotel located right off the main strip right next to Basecamp Hotel and Brewery. The rooms were recently remodeled and were very clean and tidy. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean, also freshly remodeled. The hotel does not use key cards but in fact they send you a code to your cellphone and there is a number pad on the doors so there is no fumbling around trying to find your stupid key all the time. This hotel was a fraction of the cost of the other hotels nearby, especially the ones in the casinos. Giving us a lot more money to enjoy the city with. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to save hundreds of dollars but still wants a nice room.

There wasn't anything I really didn't like, maybe the stairs sucked after you've walked all day but there are rooms on the lower floor as well. The stairs are pretty small, but im just trying to find something to put here 😅 I wish this place had a killer view, but you can't have it all.

The location was great. The rooms look to be recently remodeled. The beds were comfy. It is contactless so no one is working in the office. It is in walking distance to the casinos and restaurants. The parking was plenty for the 3 nights we stayed. There was a coin operated laundry room. They were quick to communicate via text for any questions I had.

It walls are thin so you can hear conversations outside and in the room above. I have white noise going so it drown out most of it.

Good location. Good communication. Seamless check-in/out. Parking. Comfy bed.

The listing says "outdoor swimming pool" but that tiny thing was not a pool, more like a large bathtub. The room was a lot smaller than the photos would suggest. The lighting could use an upgrade - it was a choice between the very bright overhead lighting or the lamp in the corner that didn't have a shade. Having a light blub glare directly in your face like that was uncomfortable so we didnt use it.

The location was great. Parking was easy. Love the no-contact check-in. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Also great that they are dog friendly.

You can hear the people above walking. They were up front about this and will handle noise issues for you if needed. If I had to be picky, it would be nice to know when a live person will be in the lobby area.

Very clean. Spacious, large bed, with desk for work and small table and stools for dining.

The dining table is a bit flimsy. The hair dryer blows cold air only which is very uncomfortable. You can hear your neighbors clearly, the host did provide ear plugs which is considerate! We had reasonable neighbors and weren’t bothered too much by it.

My room was very clean and comfortable. Melissa Yessica and Zack were very attentive and provided excellent customer service. I would highly recommend the Blue Jay Lodge to anyone visiting South Lake Tahoe and will definitely return myself next time I'm in Tahoe

There was nothing I didn't like about my stay at the Blue Jay Lodge.

Newly renovated. Large room, large comfortable bed, everything you need. Two tables, three chairs. Top accommodation.

Description in booking.com says 24/7 reception. We arrived 6:30 pm, had some difficulties with out check in, but nobody was there. Reception is only reachable via phone or texting, which made it very time consuming to solve the problem.

It was clean (our number one requirement). It was super cute inside. There were water bottles in the fridge for us, clean towels placed neatly on the beds and nicely presented in the bathroom as well. Ear plugs were left in case of noise but it was perfectly quiet.

No elevator, but that wasn’t that big of a deal.

The room was clean, had good water pressure and was comfortable. If you are going to see a concert at Harrah's Outdoor, this is a perfect place to stay. It is very close to the venue and has free parking. The check in and check out process is automated and very easy.
