Clean, large and elegant rooms, very superior to the structures with similar price. Friendly owners helped us browsing the local attractions, they also provided us with solar protection and towels for the beach!!! The hotel is easy to reach and the parking is very comfortable. I worked in turism and I can tell that the service is well above the expectations. I booked for my group of friends, they complimented me for the choice! 😎✨️

The front desk reception attendant was really friendly and helpful. Loved the European style of the hotel but with plenty of space. Two queen beds, table, small fridge, microwave. Great linens. Great idea to have hard floors (no carpet)

Not a fan of bathroom sinks that are bowls sitting above the counter. I'm only 5'4" tall and it's hard for me to wash my face. Wish the fridge had been turned on ahead. We packed food for next day BF, lunch on the slopes and dinner. we put it all in the fridge only to discover in the morning that it had not been on all night. Fortunately food was not spoiled but our ice packs were water. We could hear the baby in the next room and the person snoring in the other room nearby. Hard floors mean less cozy.

In this day and age, it is rare to find a small hotel like Elet that mirrors the room cleanliness and room amenities of a Marriott or Hyatt. Our group of 12 had an incredible time (we booked 4 rooms for one night that were conveniently located right next to each other). The free snacks in the room and the hot coffee and tea with biscuits the next morning were a wonderful breakfast treat (The owner at the front was a gem and was kind enough to have it ready at 7am so we could make it to the hill on time). It was the small things like free parking and the shower robes and slippers that made us feel we were staying in a much nicer hotel. Would most definitely stay again!!

Would be nice to have liquid soap along with the soap bars!

It was a really comfy stay, room was clean, staff was nice. We checked in a little late and they preheated our room because it was so cold out. They also had some complimentary water and snacks for our stay. We loved how close the location was to everything so we mostly walked and didn’t have to deal with looking or paying for parking.

The description said there would be a microwave in the room but we didn’t have one. It wasn’t crucial but it would have been nice and we also could have asked or maybe we were suppose to but we didn’t bother with it.

Great location, walkable to everything in that part of town (restaurants, gondola, beach, casinos). Exceptionally clean, easy parking, away from main drag so limited street noise but still easy to get to everywhere.

Not a fault of the hotel as it was exactly as described. If a person is looking for luxury, this isn’t it. The hotel is a remodeled motel so doesn’t have the luxury upgrades, but it you are looking for super clean, easy, comfortable value, I’d highly recommend.

This is a motel that has been recently renovated and is in very good condition. It was spotless and met all of our expectations for cleanliness. The family that run it are very kind and friendly. The location is very convenient...you can walk 5 minutes to the lakeshore beach, or 3 minutes to the main street in town with lots of shops and restaurants (and the Heavenly gondola). Free snacks in room. Bathtub sparkling clean.

Basic features, nothing too fancy, but at this budget price point I wouldn't expect more.

We had an amazing time here. The room was spotless and in great shape, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The owner of the hotel was really friendly and gave us some great suggestions for places to eat around South Lake Tahoe, as well as some fun activities to do in the snow. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we couldn't have asked for more.

The location was perfect! There are a lot of things to do within walking distance. Staff was very accommodating and welcoming upon arrival and throughout our stay. Property was very clean and well maintained. There are so many choices in South Lake Tahoe and when I come back I know where I will be staying..... The Elet Hotel!

Absolutely nothing negative to say about The Elet Hotel.

The Elet Hotel is modern and good looking motel type of accommodation with newly equipped rooms and free parking in the property's private parking lot. Breakfast wasn't included however small snack was prepared to our room what was enough for fast start in the morning. Staff was very nice and helpful. I wish to visit this place during winter.

There is not much to do during summer if you're just transpassing and not planning long time trips to surrounding nature or boat cruises. A private beach is available nearby, however it's payed and except small beach bar it doesn't offer anything else interesting. In fact, there is a lot of restaurants, bars and shops around in South Lake Tahoe for those who need this in trips to nature :D
