There was good variety for breakfast. There was no view from our room because of the location of the room. When we arrived both rooms we booked were on the second floor. My mistake. I should have specified when booking that we were traveling with an older person who has difficulty with stairs. The desk person rectified my mistake by moving my mother and myself to a first floor room and showed my mother to the room while I dealt with the luggage. The room I shared with my mother was closest to the pool. However, there was enough building between our room and the pool so that our room was quiet, despite multiple people in the pool area, and staff ensured the pool closed at 10pm. The room was a good size with a full closet, mini fridge, microwave, large bathroom and decent lighting.

The extra fee was $20 a night for our dog. This is our go-to hotel in Tehachapi when we are visiting family in the area. Really like the new pool and jacuzzi. A real plus.

Hotels encourage you to use the same towels. I am ok with that; but what about some towel racks. We experiences that in every hotel we stayed in.

Your hotel is centrally located. The room was clean. We also enjoyed the heated pool and great jacuzzi, and the full breakfast was nice! I recommend your hotel when staying in Tehachapi! I thought it was reasonably priced too.

You didn't have many rooms occupied, but you still put us in a room right by the busy road, you probably should have put us in a room further from the road (quieter). It was still okay. The room card said you have HBO, but we couldn't find it on the tv.

The room was huge, nice furnishings, comfy beds, very clean. Parking is right by the door of the room. The location is quiet despite being near the railway tracks - it’s because the rooms are behind the main building. The breakfast was modest but ok.

The heating furnace was a kind of old and a bit noisy at night. The sound insulation is weak, so we could hear the neighnors in the evening. But thankfully everybody quieted down for the night.

clean, in a nice part of town

since it was over 100˚ when we arrived around 8pm, it would have been great if the AC had been turned on at least to 78˚ … the room was extremely hot and it took a good hour to cool it down. However, I do understand that you can’t really know when someone will show up, just wondering if on super hot days like that if turning on the AC around 4 or 5 pm to 78˚ would be a nice touch for road weary travelers. Other than that, nice place, very nice ee’s and the breakfast was very well done. Thank you.

Very clean and excellent continental breakfast, like it used to be before the pandemic. Pool was nice and warm.

The staff were indifferent. The girl at the evening check in barely said a few words and didn’t great us or welcome us to the hotel. The other girl in the morning check out was equally indifferent, took my room keys and didn’t say anything, not even ask how was our stay. They seemed bored and more preoccupied on checking their cell phones. It will be nice to teach the staff customer service and good greeting training.

It had the look and feel of an old-fashioned motel but with updated amenities.It was dog friendly for $20 non refundable, which was OK. It was very clean and safe. The free breakfast was excellent. A wide variety of things to choose from. I would stay there again.

Nice clean, quiet and comfortable room. I have stayed here three times now and have not been disappointed. I was very happy to see that Covid has left! The full breakfast was great and appreciated! So glad we seem to be getting back to normal once again! The pizza place next door was excellent as well! Nice to have good food within a very short walk!

Nothing really, place is a good, basic facility that is kept very clean and nice. No complaints overall. Just a good place to spend a comfortable night in Tehachapi!

# 1 - The climate control air filters were spotless and it looked like these are hand scrubbed clean after each stay. #2 - The staff were most accommodating. # 3 - EZ in EZ out. good central location. # 4 - noise level is far less than I've experienced at other local properties SureStay Hotel by Best Western Tehachapi is a winner and I shall definably return again when in this area.

The outside staircase gave me vertigo

Convenient location. Bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet.

It was difficult to get the room temperature comfortable for us. It was too warm or cold. interrupted our sleep.
