No breakfast here. Room nice and large. Great heater, great shower. But no decaf coffee. That's often true so I always bring my own. But pot to boil water was rusty. Light bulb burned out in nightstand lamp. Phone in room inoperable. Great host. Wonderful for us.

The Crystal Lodge Motel was an older property but remodeled. The owner made check-in so easy and he offered suggestions for things to do and places to eat. He was so friendly and that’s a huge plus in the hospitality business. We had a room on the back side away from the street and it was so quiet. The remodeled room was remarkable. The location was in close proximity to almost everything in town including being just a few blocks away from the beach.

There was no breakfast but there was a refrigerator and a Keurig for coffee.

Easy check-in/out. Pleasantly surprised at the room and its useful space; very clean and fresh. Comfortable beds with elegant linens. Toiletries and towels are provided. Neal the manager made our stay in Ventura one we would like to repeat. Cafe Nouveau is nearby (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the brewery/pizzeria down the street was fun, although driving there is best. We were able to park in the motel lot behind the building and there are also parking spots in front.

No complaints from us. There was nothing we did not like about the premises, the management or the area.

My room was modern, updated and very clean! The shower has almost too much water pressure for sensitive areas if you know what I mean! It is a great location near where we were working at the Fairgrounds. Owner was nice. I felt safe in my room. My only complaint was my front facing room heard lots of street traffic but that can't be helped. I would definitely stay there again. It was priced right and worth it.

Traffic noise was annoying but can't really be helped and not a lot of parking although we were able to find parking in front both nights. Otherwise, everything was very good.

Clean modern bathroom, kitchen though no cups or cutlery but stove, full size fridge and freezer, microwave, sink, some cooking pans and plates. Our room was large with 3 queen size beds, a small table for 2, TV that we didn't watch and I doubt it can connect to your Netflix, a small shelf to hang your clothes. It worked for us and price was affordable.

I wished there were cups in the room though there were paper mugs but you can't heat them up in microwave. There were 2 big towels, 2 small towels and 2 wash cloths and the quality of them was poor..you could see the threads on your hands or face. If you are staying here, and you should as the room is big and clean and kitchen is big enough, take your towels and kitchen items you need, then you are golden.

Neil was really friendly and made sure that we had a nice stay. Comfortable motel which is perfect for roadtrips on highway 1.
