Rex Motel

It’s a basic pull off the road Motel with no other facilities except the rooms. Perfect for an overnight stop but wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay. Convenient for a supermarket where we managed to get all the necessities for breakfast. Beds were comfortable and clean.

The walls between units are thin so we could hear the telephone conversation of our neighbour verbatim. Thankfully it only lasted an hour after which we had a peaceful night.

I loved the quiet rooms and the friendly staff - check in is at 3 PM but they let me check in by 1 PM! There was also plenty of parking and the carports next to the rooms were great. The rooms were simple, though they were clean and the beds were comfy. There are plenty of food choices in the area within walking distance, but if you prefer to drive, traffic was not a problem either. I stayed for a last minute stay in Ventura, but I would definitely stay here again!

The water pressure in the shower was not very strong, and the freezer looked like something had spilled and it was never cleaned, but neither of these things would deter me from staying here again.

It was very good. They even had a kitchen and a desk. It was also very clean, and the staff were very nice. It even had a full fridge which I have never seen before in a hotel.

Nothing is bad. All was good, the only thing was that the card with the channels was a little mixed up, so i couldnt find the mtv channel.

Location was very good, excellent price and friendly and helpful staff!

The heater in the unit looked like it had some discoloration on the vents. They worked well but it looked slightly like mold, I think it was just darker from the heater being on it however. There was also a very old cup of coffee in the microwave that left a bit or a smell. Overall the room was in very good condition aside from that!

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Easy check in and to extend our stay. designated covered carport next to each room as well as one directly in front of room which was super convenient. Spacious room. It was quiet and peaceful, no hassle. Beds and pillows were super comfortable.

Could not watch TV and didn't feel like dealing with maintenance. Floors and furniture could use a deep detailed cleaning but I would stay again!

I didn't find an ice machine, but in fairness, I didn't ask. Grabbed ice from the store, no problem.

The location is central to the beach, Main Street and the mall. It is very clean. The motel itself isn't new but all the rooms have been remodeled. Yhe staff is friendly. It's great value.

We had the room with the full kitchen, which was nice considering the status of dining options (no indoor and take-out only). Only downside was that there were a couple of pots and pans, but no utensils or dishes. Upside, there is a dollar store next to the Winco if needed.
