La Quinta by Wyndham Denver Gateway Park

The rooms were well-appointed, spacious and clean. We appreciated the amenities - both in the room (e.g. sufficient # of towels for 2 people, shampoo and conditioner, ironing board) and in the hotel in general (e.g. breakfast, pool, gym). Wifi worked really well. We enjoyed our swim in the pool. The bed was comfortable and the size was accurate (i.e. queen/king - not a double). Breakfast was available, and while we would have appreciated some fresher options, there was some variety on the two days of our stay. The staff, when approached, were helpful. The hotel has a security patrol for the parking lot. Free parking is available on site. Location is reasonably close to the airport. There are a number of food options in the area.

I would suggest that the front desk is underserviced as we often had to wait to speak with someone. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way that Denver is a "car theft capital", and while the hotel supported us (and has security available), this is something travellers to the area should be aware of.

I loved everything about it. I’ve been at other hotels before and I’m always visited by some unwanted pests at some point in my stay, but this was the cleanest stay I’ve ever experienced. I had a flight later at night but didn’t have the money to afford another night’s rate, so I checked out early and the front desk staff allowed me to keep my stuff in their office until I came back from my job interview and last minute errands. Also, I don’t know his name, but the evening front desk guy was kind enough to answer all my questions about the sights to be seen in Colorado and all my last-minute tourist options; that guy deserves a raise… but then again, they all do.

The latest checkout time is 12pm. I understand why that is (because cleaning and sanitizing takes time) but it would be nice to have an extra non-penalty hour, in case of emergencies.

The location was amazing. You can find lots of restaurants and coffee around the hotel. You can even walk to the fast food restaurants and gas station. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and the hot tub was clean and so good. Breakfast was also pretty good.

The card to open my room had to be replaced a couple of times because it wouldn't work. But other than that everything was fine.

The hotel was nice and it had a good breakfast selection. Our room was wonderful and everything was clean and made up nicely. The pool area was open and was well kept. We also loved that we were traveling with our furbabies and that was not a problem.

The rate of the room was quite a bit pricey when we stayed. The a/c unit made the room strangley humid and kind of warm, it cut off and on every 10 mins or so.

The breakfast was most excellent. I really enjoyed the eggs and sausage, and the coffee was very good as well. Great breakfast. The room was very quiet as well. I had a very restful sleep. And a super clean facility.

Great hotel overall- from the front desk to the cleaning crew, staff were friendly and very accomodating. Breakfast was exceptional, all facilities were pleasantly clean, comfortable and easily accessible (including the pool & spa)!

The bed was unbelievably comfortable. We stayed in 4 other hotels before coming to Denver and it was the most pleasant sleep of them all. Breakfast was pretty good too. Nothing to write home about, but they put on a decent spread, which is better than most hotels are doing right now. Best part about our stay, they did a quick turnover service for the second night. I paid 4x this price for a "nicer" hotel in Seattle and they wouldn't even make my bed. Thank you La Quinta!

The front desk staff really needs to where some type of uniform - a polo or collard shirt or just something with the La Quinta logo on it. I didn't know who was checking me in or out, they just looked like random people from off the street. All things told, it's quite minor and really the only thing I thought they could improve.

Very Clean and spacious room. Very spacious bathroom. Pretty quiet area. Free parking. Located 1 min off of Interstate. Lots of restaurants, fast food, convenient stores within 3 mins drive and walking distance. Check-in and check-out were very fast and smooth. Receptionist were very pleasant and helpful. Definitely recommended stay for a few days. Would stay again. Great value for price!!

Rooms were very clean but looked a bit outdated. No USB ports to charge electronics. Had to use outlets so bring charge block. Other than that the stay was good. Didn't really have any other issues.
