This is a super clean and modern room, and there is a nice lady at check in once you arrive by 3pm. Before then the office is empty and you must deal with the owner hotel, the Matterhorn. Not accommodating. All these inns are right off main street which is five blocks long. Red Mtn brewery across the street has great sandwiches and burgers around $15 and a nice view. But their specialty drinks all lack the special nuts, juices etc that are promised on the menu, they are just plain beer, sangria etc. Or maybe it was the substitute bartender as the owner couple were out buying plants to beautify.

The deluxe king rooms all on the first floor and no views. There is a nutty dog in a home behind there who started barking around 11pm but knocked off after an hour or so. The rooms are not cramped, but on the smaller side, say "cozy" about right.

Out of the 9 places we stayed on our trip to New Mexico and Colorado this was about the best. Although we tend to stay in hotels over motels, this one is changing my mind. The room was spacious, plenty of room to put our belongings. The bed was very comfortable and the room had 2 comfortable chairs. The bathroom was plenty spacious and a great shower. They had the best little frig of any place as it had a small freezer space to freeze our blue ice packs. Most other little frigs have no freezer space. A bonus was a coin operated laundry with the inn. It was extremely handy and a happy addition to do some laundry for the rest of our trip. Breakfast was wonderful, they had worked it out for a local restaurant to give us breakfast. Our coffee and omelettes was better than the expensive one at the Luminary Restaurant in Sante Fe that we paid at least $50 for. It was just VERY clear, thought was put into remodeling this place with comfort in mind and keeping it well maintained.

It would have been nice to have a lamp at the desk, but not a big deal.

This hotel is near the south end of the main street in town. The town is small, so shops and restaurants are right out the door and a few blocks down, and we easily walked to the city hot springs pools on the north end of the main street. Our room was large, comfortable, and extremely clean. Compared to other hotels where I had stayed on our trip, I thought the owner had made extra effort to anticipate guests' needs. The breakfast provided is at a local restaurant, Mi Mexicano, just a few blocks away.

The cost of the hotel was more than I spent in other places on our trip. I booked the hotel about 10 days out and found it was listed at about $50 lower when I looked at it again on the day we checked in. The hotel owner explained that she cannot do anything about rate changes when a person books a hotel through a service. The next time, I may contact the hotel directly to make my reservation. Other than that, the only part of this room that could be improved is the coffee maker. There is one in the room, but the coffee it makes is not very good.

Adorable older motel with new floors and fixtures. It has a great “funky old motel” feel but without the dated, gross stuff that usually goes along with that. Everything was clean and nice. It smelled good, even the parking lot and fire pit were well maintained. Housekeeping was helpful and friendly. It’s right at the high end of Main Street and we walked the length of town every night after dark.

I would have loved (free) coffee in the lobby in the morning! There are several great coffee shops in town though!

I booked this room with the understanding it was 10 miles from Teluride. It was 45 miles. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner was not concerned that Booking.com had the wrong distance. I had no choice but to stay in the area. Now, Ouray aka Little Switzerland was the cutest area. We never got to Teluride because we loved this little town. It had plenty of hiking for the average person. Two water falls, hot springs, restaurants, etc. We were glad we landed there but unhappy with the deceptive distance (10 miles was as the crow flies not driving distance). Also the breakfast in the room was not desirable.

Location was excellent - right across the street from two of our favorite places to eat, and very convenient to one of our hikes. The two chairs were both very comfortable. The shower worked very well, as did the TV.

The A/C was right next to one side of the bed. We did not need it a lot, but it was uncomfortable having it blowing right on me. I'd recommend turning the bed a quarter turn clockwise and placing the head of the bed against the wall opposite the A/C. I think that would be a lot more comfortable. The breakfast bags contained food we did not care for, so we just went across the street to a cafe. At the price, we were not disappointed to have to pay extra for breakfast.

Located at the end of the Main Street running thru the town. Comfortable bed and pillows. I appreciated having a mini fridge in the room. Instead of having a “blah” hotel breakfast, they gave vouchers for a local Mexican restaurant that serves amazing food.

I wish there was an extra blanket in the room. I didn’t bother asking the desk for one, I just turned up the heat for the night. The heating unit was very noisy and woke me every time it kicked on.

I loved our stay here. The location was perfect. You can walk around the town or the waterfall and it's with a reasonable distance. Super clean! Beds and pillows were very comfortable, and loved the the towel details. Our room was very spacious, perfect for our family. I definitely recommend this place. Our stay also included a complementary breakfast at a Mexican restaurant a few blocks down the road and they were also super nice and the food was delicious!

Great location, clean rooms, and quiet. Our room was next to the street but we never heard any traffic other than an occasional Harley Davidson motorcycle with an over eager rider.

It’s not a hotel, so there’s no lobby to hang out in. But there is a great patio with a fire pit and a beautiful view of the mountains.

Tastefully decorated and designed. Close to everything. Plenty of hot water. Large mini fridge.

The four bed pillows were huge. Thick. I need a pillow to sleep, but pillows this thick often cause me to strain my neck and give me a stiff neck for a week. Thankfully not this time. The processed prepackaged JimmyDean Sausage egg biscuit was inedible. The processed fast food burrito was barely edible. The yogurt was too sweet. Bottled OJ was good. Very cheap, unhealthy breakfast. Stay here, but plan on eating breakfast out.
