Older 1-story motel, well maintained (though not necessarily updated) with lots of trees, shrubs, & flowers on the grounds. Nice outdoor seating areas. The manager who greeted us was very friendly & our room was ready early. Wifi, TV, refrigerator & microwave all worked well. We walked a few blocks for dinner at a terrific Mexican restaurant.

It's an older facility with a small bathroom (no room for toiletries). The bedding included a clean but well-worn quilt. Not sure how I feel about that... most motels have moved away from bed covers that can't be washed daily.

My partner and I loved staying here; it had a perfect location, just blocks from good restaurants and the main streets, lovely neighborhood walks, and in a central location for exploring the countryside nearby by car. It's charm lay in it's clean simple furnishings of everything essential, and good coffee, to boot. The young man at the desk was very helpful and the management was responsive immediately with a little problem we had with the booking. Unpretentious, and such a refreshing change from the usual low budget chain hotels.

If you need the latest model television this might not be the place for you. If you put value on cleanliness, though, you won't be disappointed.

We love the location in Paonia/West Elks wine region. We especially love that it is possible to reserve a dog-friendly room. The beautiful hidden outdoor area is a delight. This is our third stay at Rocky Mountain Inn and we love it. We also loved the Joe Cocker curtains, reminding us that he had his Mad Dog Ranch nearby.

This time we were in the front motel area rather than back by the green area. I'm sure that couldn't be helped.

The outdoor space had numerous places to sit, a picnic table, and was landscaped and decorated with interesting statues, objects, and there was even a totem pole near the office.

Although the staff was nice and helpful, often no one was available during the posted office hours. A phone number to contact was posted on the door, but my Verizon phone service did not work in Paonia. other guests also had problems checking in.

This hotel was clean. The person working the desk, Ethan, was very nice. We were there during a heat wave, asked for a fan and he graciously provided one. The beds were comfortable.

The hotel was dated. There were the little black bugs around but most were dead and they didn't bother us. Our room seemed dark.

A/C is central, didn't know there was a way to adjust it, although limited office hours would have precluded this. Pricey for an older facility.

The room was very cute and I liked that a coffee pot, fridge, and microwave were present and very clean. The shower was a great size and the water got nice and hot. It was a very cute place.

Room was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable bed was very comfortable. Enjoy my evening there.

The property was better than expected given the rating on Google. I was checked in immediately. The room was clean and spacious. Coffee abs a fridge. Hot water quickly in the shower. Fast wifi. everything you need for a short stay.

The gentleman that checked me in was so nice and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful views. I've stayed here before and both times were great, will definitely return.🤗

Only negative is the noise from the road right outside.
