Quiet Corner Inn

We spent 2 weeks at this Inn, the owner is exceptional! The room was super clean! Our housekeeping person, Lisa,was so sweet, friendly and accommodating. This is a family run business that goes above and beyond to keep everyone happy! We had a king bed, with refrigerator and microwave. There is also a desk area. Brooklyn, CT is a small town with everything you need in a very short drive. Dunkin donuts, Walmart (the best Wal-Mart I have ever been in) McDonald's, a nice restaurant and many more things with just a 3 minute drive!! I would stay at this location again and again!

The only recommendation I would make would be a suction grab bar for bathtub/shower for the elderly. An anti-slip bath mat for inside the tub. This is based on my husband's age and agility. Those items should only be made available when requested. Just a suggestion 😁

The place was very quiet and very clean. I wouldn't have known other guests were there, save for the other cars in the lot. The couple who runs the place is as sweet as can be and they clearly care about what they do. They had a detailed sheet with information on everyone around that you might need, which was very helpful.

The only thing I didn't like has nothing to do with the hotel or the staff, merely the location it is in. UberEats is not a good option out there. If you want restaurant food, your best bet is to pick it up or eat at a restaurant, as the delivery fees out there, for what few restaurants deliver through UberEats, are $10-25, on top of the inflated food prices and other fees that Uber charges. I'm used to the suburbs, this area is a lot more rural than I'm used to staying.

On arrival, the office was quite hectic with a group of boisterous people wanting last-minute bookings and I had my doubts about waiting even though we had a reservation. The manager stayed patient and professional, so we decided to wait...and were so glad we did! We were offered a quiet room at the back of the building, never heard from the big group again! The room was super clean and well-maintained. The newer technology individual heat/air unit was very quiet and we had a restful stay. The bathroom sink is outside the shower/toilet room (in its own alcove) so two people can easily get ready at the same time. Fridge and microwave were clean and appreciated.

All was good.

The location is perfect! You can walk to get coffee if you'd like, which is a huge plus for me. It's pretty much only 30 minutes from quite a few places of interest in the area. Most of all, it's CLEAN! And the staff are so kind and helpful. We've stayed here twice now and will continue to do so when we come to the area. I can't say enough good things about this spot.

We stayed seven nights and this provided a perfect clean and quiet place to rest. The owner and staff are very accommodating, the property is well maintained, and the location is close to food, shopping and UCONN.

I always like some sort of breakfast fare included but most places in this area do not. There is a coffee maker and coffee in the room, a quiet fridge and a microwave.

Great location, very clean, wonderful personnel who are conscientious about the property, and want it to remain among the best

This is just so minuscule but… please don’t offer a combination of shampoo/conditioner. Just buy and offer them separately as a complimentary perk. The combo tube is less than satisfactory. Thanks so much for asking!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for one person and very clean. Maid service was perfect.

I really can't think of anything that could be better. It was a great value for the price. I will stay there again.

The quiet corner inn is BEYOND CLEAN and during this pandemic that is key and many other establishments fail MISERABLY but this one DOES NOT. The quiet corner inn has the best rooms and the best staff. Megan the housekeeper is FANTASTIC she is very very thorough and very professional and VERY enjoyable to speak to. The quiet corner inn really really does go above and beyond for its guests . From start to finish this place really has it all , great location, great rooms , safe , and clean , what more could you ask for ? And it really is quiet . Manny the owner is absolutley without a doubt the most fair honest man you'll ever meet, it's really refreshing to have such a good place and have such good people. They give new meaning to hospitality.

We always stay at the Quiet Corner Inn when we are visiting the Woodstock Area in Conn. We never look any place else. The rooms are always immaculate, spacious, and comfortable .The owner Manny is always updating the facility inside and out, and goes out of his way to make certain your stay is enjoyable. All of the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this to anyone. It’s always so peaceful and quiet too.

Nothing .We have stayed there for many years and have never been disappointed. We are already looking forward to our stay in 2022 !

It seems too small a compliment to say the Inn met our expectations, but that's exactly what it did. This is not a luxury hotel, not part of a chain, and no breakfast. What they did have was a clean, quiet room with comfortable beds, everything worked the way it should and friendly check-in.

The heater/ ac was noisy. All the guests were lumped together.
