Perfect for visiting the local area. The inn exudes classic New England charm. The price was reasonable, and I unexpectedly received an upgraded suite, which was a nice surprise. Parking was easy, the lobby was nicely appointed, and the property appears well-maintained. It's very quaint, with a few modern touches. But mostly quaint!

It doesn't really have much in the way of fitness amenities. I can see why that is, given the layout and age of the building. But I wouldn't take off anything for this, really. If I wanted a fitness center and a pool, I could have stayed elsewhere.

Beautiful location - I forgot how beautiful the Farmington area is. The quiet, wallpapered room and four poster beds and curtains were very nice and felt special. The staff was very helpful and nice. The midweek snacks in the lobby were yummy. Breakfast in pretty Victoria's breakfast room was good.

Maybe the lack of a refrigerator for drinks. The feather bed on one of the 2 beds would have been better with a fitted sheet underneath. But the beds were very comfy with nice sheets and top comforters.

I loved that you can get a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers when you arrived. The breakfast was really good my favorite is waffles and they had an area to make waffles they also had some fruit yogurts breakfast sandwiches cereal. They had coffee 24 hours a day there. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were even comfortable. The hallways were clean.

I don't know if it was housekeeping or other patrons around 1:30 in the morning there was a lot of banging around out in the hallway unless it's haunted

A comfortable, well-kept lodging. The carpeting is pretty and the whole place has the feeling of being well loved, nothing glitzy, just enough to be practical and comfortable at the same time. Everything was clean, it was quiet, it was easy to open the windows in the room, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was fresh.

Considering the price of the room, I only wished for a breakfast that was made by a breakfast chef who could make omelets, and china and metal utensils rather than throw away paper and plastics. Coffee refreshed at the table.

The lobby area reeked of cheap perfume. Why on earth would anyone use such strong scents in a hotel? No odor it might be intended to cover could possibly be as foul or painfully overwhelming as the scent that was used. For the good of all, especially people who are sensitive to chemicals, please stop using the product that makes the inn smell so distressingly strong. Fortunately our room and its hallway were not tainted by the same perfume.

It was lovely. The room was cosy close to amenities,and breakfast was good. The staff were helpful as always.

The room was smaller than expected. There was no refrigerator in the room. One of the lights had blown a bulb out, and there was quite some noise from the room above. This time, instead of scrambled eggs, there were only boiled eggs, which I did not like.

Ground floor reception living room style very nice. Hot and cold spring water, tea bags and coffee freely available. Reception staff helpful and caring. Breakfast was generous with many options. Four poster beds comfortable...gorgeous sheets.

2 of the three lamps in our room didn't work.So no soft lighting...only central neons. We couldn't have light on in bathroom without roaring fan. No elevator...though we didn't need one.

The people working at this location from the front desk to the breakfast staff. Excellent and personable and always make me feel like I’m important to them.

The Wi-Fi MUST be improved! As a business traveler I need the Wi-Fi to complete work after hours and the signal is poor even though I was virtually right on top of the lobby (Room 245 this visit). I’m at this location about once a week having clients in the area and I MUST have a good working signal and I should not have to rely on my own hotspot to achieve it. Please get this one thing fixed.

The room was elegant! It was a real treat! The bed was comfortable with wonderful blankets and pillows. Even the couch was comfy with extra pillows in case you wanted a quick nap!

The bathtub and shower had no grab bars and as a senior that made me very uncomfortable. We did not know when we arrived that there was no elevator and lots of stairs to get to our room.

Staff were all very nice. Great location for my needs and a pretty hotel.

The ants! I put a piece of pastry down in a napkin on the table next to my bed and within minutes the table was swarming with ants. I had very spotty wifi connection and the tv did not work. Also I could not get a receipt when I was leaving as the system was malfunctioning.
