I enjoyed the modern touches, decent sized room, cleanliness, buffet style breakfast, bright entry/lobby. Lobby attendants were friendly. Checked in and out quickly.

Although hard wood floors are attractive and easier to clean, other guests footsteps could be heard from above. If you are a light sleeper this could be a deal breaker or you request the 4th floor (top floor). Although this did not affect me, if you need a closet to store some clothing, this could be a downside as there wasn't one in our room. There were however a few hooks to hang your clothing on hangers.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. We tried to get early check-in, but that wasn't possible for the particular day that we stayed. We frequent Milford often, and due to the State Fair being in Harrington, we were unable to get a room. The rate was terrific! The hotel was extremely quiet, always a plus when you need a good night's sleep. I loved that the room was somewhat compact, they were efficient in building the facility. They are the first hotel in Milford that has an outdoor pool, with chairs and grills/firepits, and picnic table! We will be a Microtel "frequent flyer" for sure! They truly exceeded our expectations. We are happy to have found Microtel.

The staff were very nice and having just opened, the hotel was in pristine condition, very clean. The location is great if you have an event at the Delaware Turf Fields, just a 5 or so minute drive away. Otherwise, it is off the highway and right next to a Royal Farms. Much cleaner and obviously newer than the Hampton Inn which is the other nearby option. I am giving a 9 rating as this is one of the best options available for those having sports events at the DE Turf. Otherwise, there is no reason to stay at this hotel in my opinion.

Rooms on the bottom floor have no privacy when the curtains are open, as the parking spots pull right up to the windows, and there is a Royal Farms close to one side of the hotel. The towels are low quality and scratchy. No closets, if that matters to you. Not much of a breakfast if you are comparing this to the nearby Hampton Inn option. While there is a pool, it is right next to the road that leads to the Royal Farms, with no privacy for sunbathers.

Breakfast was fantastic and plenty of options to choose from. The hotel had activities such as a bond fire for families to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The fitness center had plenty of equipment to use for those who actively participate in athletic training. The staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and was willing to help out anyway they could. The location was peaceful and yet close enough to the city center and beach locations about a 35 minute drive away.

The only thing that bothered me was an undescribable pungent odor.

The hotel was very nice. A friendly smile met when I came in the door. The staff was very helpful and extremely nice. Everything felt genuine. You could tell the staff we're happy at their job and didn't feel inconvenienced. Unfortunately I left to early for work to be able to enjoy the breakfast.

The only downfall to the stay was the noise coming from the royal farms next door. A large group of vehicles had gathered in attempts to be fast and furious wannabees late at night being very disruptive.

It is a nice little hidden gem with minutes away from town and with a restaurant next it. I love the hardwood floors and the rooms have a decent amount of spacing. The water was hot and the pressure was great as well. For breakfast the pancakes were good, the sausage was good and the eggs were just ok.

Only thing I didn't really like was the eggs for breakfast but everything was pretty solid. t

Still very new and very clean

The only little complaint was the air conditioner would shut off completely once reaching a certain temperature, instead of running the fan without the compressor. So that when it kicked back on it would go from quiet to slightly noisy. This is the case in most hotels now, like I said, just a little complaint

Close to the hospital, staff were friendly.

Someone above me was stomping and banging past 10pm. I get up early for work, so it kept me awake. I also did not like having to wait for someone to check me in/out. Previous facilities I stay in have an app where you can check in and out and receive an electronic key. As a travel nurse it make it easier. A co-worker was late to work his 1st shift because he had to wait for someone to check him out.

loved the look! The room was clean, and A/C worked fantastically!!

Disappointed that the staff 'warned us' of the pizza at Grotto's. (Negative way.) We love Grotto's and we pick this location because of the Grotto's restaurant. It would actually benefit you if you had some kind of relationship with Grotto's!! And vis-versa!

Spotless with friendly staff

The laundry situation: coin operated but not run by the hotel, so you need quarters which the hotel doesn’t have. Many lacrosse parents with stinky gear were scrambling for quarters. Bring quarters!!
