This property is kept to a high standard. It was immaculate. Our room was large and very comfortable with its own A/C control. The bed was comfortable with quality linens. Bathroom was a good size with plenty of towels. Full breakfast and afternoon snacks with plenty of waters/wine/tea and coffee available. Beach chairs, bikes, beach towels available at the property. A short 5 min walk to restaurants and shops.

Breakfast was good, plenty of 'extras' were always available (snacks, water bottles, coffee), multiple options to relax or eat -- enclosed front porch, living room, dining room, and shaded back porch. We tried out almost all of them over our weekend.

If you are the type to blame the Inn for being a few doors down and across the street from a firehouse and a hospital, we heard sirens once in the afternoon and helicopter to hospital twice. Really not a bother, and all either while outside or with windows open. The Inn is so well sound proofed, I doubt you'd notice these during your stay.

We had a wonderful stay. For us, the location was perfect - walkable distance to shops/restaurants, but far enough away from the crowds. See comment for didn't like regarding location. The best part of the stay was the host, Mary. She was informative, responded to our requests/special dietary needs, and was very engaging. Plus, her breakfast entrees were very tasty.

The location of the Inn is across the street from the town's Fire Station. We were awaken by Sirens in the middle of the night. While this wasn't a draw back for us, other travelers may want to consider this when booking.

This is a lovely place to stay in a lovely town. Walking distance to shops and restaurants as well as the beach. Comfortable bedrooms and communal areas to enable interaction with host and other guests. Complimentary afternoon snacks and drinks were an added bonus.

We had one noisy night due to bathroom fan of another guest being on all night. The value for us was impacted by the £/$ exchange rate making everything more expensive than on previous trips to the USA

The beach house suite was wonderful, and we will likely try to book it again next year. Also, we enjoyed the breakfast and the great service.

The only thing that we would ask that could be altered, would be the use of fragrances on our bed clothes, and in the room. Apparently the maid service spray some thing that agitates both of our allergies.

Breakfast was awesome. We were there 4 days - each breakfast was different but delicious. We took advantage of the location of Lewes and traveled to Assateague, Ocean City, Cape May, Cape Helopen Park, etc. Also did some shopping in Lewes Loved the food at A Touch of Italy. Was very good to have late afternoon snacks available - very yummy and nitrutious

Can't think of anything we did not like. Only thing....we don't think the bathroom fan was functioning???

The staff was helpful and pleasant. The entire Inn is lovely and like a home away from home. The breakfast and happy hour food and drink were excellent. The other guests were also friendly.

I had some trouble going up the stairs (steep) to the third floor and consequently planned my in and out trips carefully.

The host, Mary, was super nice, and personable. She made one of the best French Toast dishes I've ever had. She really made the place feel like home. Also, we got a spectacular massage from Kelly (I believe that was the name of the masseuse). My wife was also a big fan of the rocking chairs, and the general atmosphere of the place. The Inn, itself, was also in a great location. The town of Lewes was very quaint, and quiet. Great place to visit if you're just looking for a low-stress, easy-going vacation. Also, the Inn was within a fairly brief walking distance from the Lewes beach. I would highly recommend this place, and the town itself, to others.

The only real criticism that I have is that our bathroom didn't seem to have an exhaust fan. Also, I think laundry machine was making some weird noises at night. However, those are very minor issues, and did not lessen the wonderful experience we had at the Inn.

Everything. Truly. It's a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere and the food for both breakfast and for the wine and snack happy hour was all delicious. Our hostess, Mary, was the LOVELIEST!! What a fantastic person. She added such a great touch to our experience!!

The most affordable room, although beautiful, clean, and comfortable, was VERY small with no space to really put anything, even in the bathroom. We looked at the other rooms and they all looked absolutely amazing, though!!

It is very clean A plus,great breakfast home cooked meals,easy to find place .Mary the inn keeper does a great job in managing the place,so accommodating,soo nice she is always smiling.the best place We have stayed so far.it is a home away from home-inn.it is quite and peaceful at night I sleft good for all those 3 nights that we have stayed.there’s always beverages ready and snacks,there are lots of beautiful flowers and plants sorrounding the inn.bed are compy and the inn has nice decorations we enjoyed our stay
