Quality Inn Alachua - Gainesville Area

The room was very comfortable and spacious and the Hotels location was centered for the areas we need to go to. Hotel had adequate parking for the hotel guest. there were plenty of meal options within a short driving distance to the hotel.

The remote control for the TV does not have a sleep timer. The bathtub rally needs to have some sort of anti slip mat, While taking a shower, I had to crap onto the rail inside the shower to keep from slipping.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was mostly clean except the floor . The sheets were very clean.

The floor was dirty. Needed to be mopped badly. I had to wear socks the whole time, but I would stay there again. I'd just ask for the floor to be mopped. Also, we had some very Loud neighbors. That's not something you can predict or the hotel is faulted for.

King bed was comfortable. Shower had substantial water pressure and water temperature was perfect.

The reading chair (upholstered) was very uncomfortable, the fabric was rough and itchy and it could have used a recliner option. The TV remote could have used a sleep timer. The drink machine by the ice machine didn't have a price listed for the drinks after entering $1.50 in quarters, no drink was available and the change return didn't work. Not sure if the price was more than $1.50, but I was out of quarters and didn't have any ones. I've had better luck at a casino, than I did with this machine. lol

We went off site for breakfast. It was located close to the various springs in North Florida. It was a short drive and pleasant.

We left each morning to go to the springs. When we returned, we were unable to unlock our door. My husband had to walk down to the office to report this each day. This was painful to me, because of recent hip surgery. We were not happy.

I love that they did not have carpet! Sonny's BBQ and Waffle House is a short walk across the street.

The so called breakfast. Ugh. SMH. It would be the champion meal of an elementary child. Also, they could do better with the curtains closing all the way past the window sill. I'm pretty sure someone got a nice show of me.

Location was good. Pool was clean. Rooms were very clean. The staff was awesome. Every employee we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Check in staff, room cleaning staff, the breakfast lady and the man doing repairs were all very nice.

The rooms could use a little updating.

I appreciated that the washer and dryer were available all evening. We spent the day at Ginnie Springs and being able to wash the kids swimming items before we headed home the next day was wonderful.

Nothing to do with the hotel itself, it was other guest on site that made the swimming pool inconvenient for my young children.

Staff was great room was clean location convenient to springs for us. We would return.

Not alot of restaurants around unless you go-to Gainesville. Mostly fast food. But that's a small town have to drive to find what you want.

Breakfast wasn't all that great but the hotel the pool and they staff where very friendly nice and great to me and my family

I.didnt like the breakfast and the choices given to us where bear to none shouldn't be added as breakfast included

Although we didn't swim in it, there was a large pool. It was quiet the night we stayed even with the place being full. The front desk clerk, Vanessa, went over and above to make our stay nice. She was nice and kind. She even plunged our toilet when it wasn't flushing well because maintenance had already left.

The bed was as hard as a rock. In fact we wondered if it was made of concrete. We would have loved to have been able to smoke in our room. We are disabled and it is hard for us to go out every time we want a cigarette.
