Buffalo Chip's Ranch House Motel

The hotel was right in the middle of town, and was only a 15 minute drive from anywhere you could want to go! The Buffalo Chips Restaurant next door is as convenient as you can get, and has great food to boot. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of everything they had to offer, and have already mentally bookmarked it for later.

More than a motel it was a great room with a restaurant & bar serving top food. A welcoming team to make your stay run well. Easy access to the major roads and not far from the character shops of Old 41 Street Road

It is a quaint and unique motel. it is very clean and charming. Has everything you need for a good price.

AC is a little loud but that’s about it.

Quaint old fashioned furnishings like a country home. Comfortable beds and very clean. Lovely lady on reception. New large fridge freezer and microwave in room. No coffee maker but free coffee in the adjacent restaurant in the morning. Motel very near the road but no noise problem for us. Try to visit the restaurant attached, good service and food.

These folks were so kind to my sister and I. We were down to mudd out, and clean my home from hurricane Ian. The girls washed our floors, brought us fresh towels, and were so kind to us in our devastation. One person stands out to both of us. Kimberly in the office also a waitress there in the evenings. They had our meals out so fast as they knew we werem exhausted, hot, sweaty and filthy. I cannot say enough great things about the waitresses. Our coffee was ready at 7am as promised. The coffee woman was exceptional as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. These girls deserve a huge raise in pay. Everything...Food was fabalous!!!

Our check in time was to be 4:00 p.m. We were at a Bluegrass festival several miles away. Called to ask if it were possible to have a late check in. Were told to call back if were going to be after 9:00 p.m. Called back. The manager was so pleasant and told us where he would leave the key to our room and the billing information. We have stayed in many properties around the US and I do not believe there were any more cleaner than this location. If you're reading this...I put a lot of stock in what others say about properties that I'm interested in booking. So I try to leave an honest, factual review when asked. No I wasn't paid for this review. This property is pretty bare bones but cleanliness is next to Godliness. Full size refrigerator, microwave, small table with two barstools, tv, wifi. If we were to be in this area of our beautiful state again...I would definitely choose this location again and again. The restaurant next door - actually attached to the long row of rooms - was beyond Excellent. A wide variety of menued items will have something to please everyone with. Don't pass this up. Lunch and Dinner service only.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

The hotel was located in the perfect area! It was in an old neighborhood that was clean and had different amenities that were all in walking distance. There was a park, grocery stores and an animal retreat. The room itself was cozy, and the decorations were very cute and fit well with the overall feel of the motel. The fact there was a fridge and microwave in the room was an extra convenience. Sally, the manager/owner was very accommodating and helpful. She allowed a VERY late check in and had everything organized and easy to find. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The only things I would recommend they change is the way the parking spaces are allotted and the bed pillows. It was frustrating coming back from a day of site seeing or visiting friends and then not have a space to park in at the front of the hotel. The spaces were taken by restaurant patrons who should, in my opinion, be parking in their huge parking lot in the back of the motel (near the main entry door) or the overflow parking lot located right next to the restaurant. The last thing I would recommend would be to invest in some comfortable pillows. Maybe MyPillow.com...they are amazing! We did love staying there overall.

The restaurant part was excellent, employees were all very friendly.

No coffee maker in the room, lack of adequate parking.

No breakfast for high was fine but the restaurant was very good for lunch and dinner! Everyone was very nice.

Nothing against the place but it’s right on a busy road so it was hard to get in and out of the place but I was so surprised by not hearing anything inside of our room! Didn’t hear the cars or anything until I walked outside. The unit was very clean. I had to do some work so the table they had in there was not very sturdy but it worked! I love it and we will stay again!
