Hyatt Place Daytona Beach-Oceanfront

Its was our 24th Anniversary. We couldn't have pick a better hotel From the time we check in Until our last day. We were treated with the up most respect from every staff of the Hotel that we came across Especially Nicola, & Chef They went above & beyond to make sure we was taken care of . We will definitely be coming back to this hotel very soon

Only thing we didn't enjoy was the pool area. But it wasn't there fault. It was Mother Nature Due to Hurricane Ian. Other than that no Bad Reviews. Five Stars

The lobby & room decor & room layout was very pleasant & accomadating. The location was as pictured & in a good area. Beachfront with public beach access right next door offering beachfront views from kids playground area, restrooms, and outdoor workout area. The free breakfast included with our stay was actually quite good and offered many choices. Fruit, made waffles, bagels, toast, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice, bacon, hashbrowns, etc. The dining area had a great view of the oceanside as well.

The lobby was nicely designed but at the time it appeared the A/C or ventilation was in need of repair. The only 2 elevators available were small & always in use or overcrowded. The pool was a decent size but wasn't elegant & didn't offer much ie kid separation, seating, slides, waterfalls, etc. Parking area wasn't big & was limited to 1 space per room and additional parking was off-site about a short walk. Not much that we didn't like just some little things we noticed.

We went thinking that there was a pool since it was one of the attractions on the page and when we arrived we realized that it does not exist

Friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices to choose from to eat and drink.

My room had partial view of the ocean when I thought it would be ocean front. I was sure to double check it twice before booking. There was no pool or access to the beach. Instead, they offered for us to go to another hotel up the street to get that. And that was frustrating. I understand that they may still have damage from last year's hurricane, but say that BEFORE we book a room. Or offer some dollars off for the inconvenience. Not a tiny sign at the check-in desk. And lastly, the parking. They only allowed one car per room. I had a party of three. My friends had to pay to park at another location. 😠

Staff was friendly, was very cleanRoom was big, beds were comfy. Pool bar was nice. Patio was nice and large. Breakfast was good. Accepts pets ♥

Conflicted on view. Ocean front that overlooked parking lot then beach, every spot had a car in it on the weekend. Balcony oceanfront saw a lot of cars.. Level below me had underwear, T shirt on roof ledge that were probably thrown there a long time ago. No microwave and fridge was very small. Restaurant was closed 😩
