Fisher Inn Resort & Marina

The Fisher Inn Resort & Marina is a nice and relaxing place for a get away. We enjoyed the balcony, the beds are super comfy and they offer some great resort amenities. The continental breakfast was better than expected and the hotel staff are friendly.

The continental breakfast offered more edible items than most other resorts..the only problem was the room was small so it only accomodated enough suply ..the staff couldn't keep up with the demand of food shortage guests quietly waited as more arrived ..all in all..it was good

We had 2 separate rooms booked ..at my nephews room the fridge temperature did not get cold so the had to store their fruits & veggies & water in our room Which was an inconvenience..we were told every room had a microwave theyalso didn't have a microwave so again came to our room But in our room there was only 1 inconvenience..the toilet tank wouldn't refill automatically after flushing..we had to take off lid and wiggle the bobber to get it started which was pretty annoying..but all in all..we brought it to the attention of the front desk upon our departure so they can rectify for the next guests

Everything was amazing, we really had a great stay. Loved our room, which had a spectacular balcony view. The entire staff was amazing super nice and willing to help all around from the beginning even before our arrival to the hotel. Their entire staff was friendly and willing to help. We’d like to give an extended thank you to Jaime she truly went above to help us specially with adding an additional room and assisted with overall from room type to best rates and continued with her kindness and willingness to make sure all was good. She was amazing, so was her team which I apologize I can’t remember his name (believe he’s her manager)Dominik too was super super nice and helpful to us. Thank You overall to your team whom has an amazing staff.

Unfortunately the pool heater seemed to have gone bad while our stay and we weren’t able to enjoy the pool at all as it was extremely cold. That was all overall we all enjoyed our stay.

We love the location. The people are super sweet Very Clean & a good value for the money! Gorgeous views ! We love all the amenities the pool, paddle boats, bikes & games all available to guests.

Our room was quite small. we requested a king bed room but somehow ended up with two full-size beds in a very tight space but you don’t spend a lot of time in the room so it wasn’t a huge deal. They need to have another mirror aside from the mirror in the bathroom! Either a full length or over the dresser. One small mirror in the bathroom is not cutting it!

My main reason for having a ocean view room was to watch the sunrise and I did not realize because I live in Atlanta and I have been to Fort Lauderdale many many many times and I go to the beach and I watch the sunrise. Well I did not know that the way the keys curved down that the sunrise was not in my view it was what appeared to be north of me, and that was kind of a letdown

Well, I paid $1035 for three nights and I thought that was a little outrageous but I did it because I really wanted to see the sunrise three mornings in a row and location just wasn’t what I thought it was going to be

Great balcony, private with a nice view. Relaxed vibe at the mini resort, modest but not junky. Good room location: (Double Queen with balcony and kitchenette) ocean view, oceanfront, comfortable beds and pillows and blankets, pots and pans and frames and silverware provided. A variety of outdoor family games provided, bikes, stand up paddle boards, somewhat heated pool, good location. Starbucks is just up the frontage road.

Noise from the busy main road that goes through the keys that is constantly busy and echos 24/7. No hot water in the shower. And no hot water at the kitchen sink. Also no sponge or dish soap provided for the kitchenette sink. No light above the kitchen sink. other lamp socket kept flickering. The outdoor chairs were falling apart. The trash can was too small for a kitchenette. Overall, I expected nicer touches, since that room was $400.

The staff and location of this hotel was exceptional. Right on the ocean and I don't think I've ever stayed at a cleaner hotel. The young lady and gentleman working at the front desk were friendly and accommodating.

The 2 queen rooms were pretty big and on their website they claimed that it sleeps 5 and roll away beds are an option for an additional fee. When I arrived they said our room couldn't take a roll away bed. I traveled with my two adult sons and they had to pair up in one bed. Also, paddle boards and kayaks were offered free of charge for guest. But they only had two of each. If you don't get up early enough, you're out of luck. Would have been a perfect 10 if not for these two issues.

We really liked the style of our room. All white, kind of remodeled key west marina style - sea view. Enough parking space. Plenty of food options around. With kids: toys and games outside, next to the pool. Easy to sit in front of your room, enjoying a drink while the kids are playing. All wheelchair accessible!

Breakfast is poor. Breakfast (take away) room is very clean, but all plastic plates, cutlery and cups. Supposed to be eaten outside (nice spot, but could be cold and windy during winter time) and the doors are heavy. Good chance to spill your coffee all aver your clothes on your way out. Breakfast could be less junk and little more healthy.

We had such a great stay at Fisher Inn - the room was big and bright, the aircon unit not too loud. Absolutely fab location at Islamorada - the view from the motel was amazing. The Inn offers bicycles and kayaks at no extra cost which we thought was a really nice extra touch. We really enjoyed our trip out onto the water! Staff were very friendly and had good tips for where to go for food (Lazy Days; Square Grouper. We also went to the Green Turtle).

Cleanliness could be improved - our floor was a bit gritty in places, but otherwise the suite was spotless.

The room was awesome and spacious with a very nice lanai overlooking the water. Everything was nice and clean. Continental breakfast was limited but had what we needed for a quick grab n' go kind of breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

Probably could improve the continental breakfast. We were there 3 nights and I noticed that they didn't replace some of the breakfast items (granola bars) if they ran out of them.
